Pros +
- The room was spacious and the AC was cold.
- Beautiful location overlooking the city of Segovia . Wonderful breakfast- easy parking
- Architecture, view. The food was very good and the restaurant staff was great
Cons -
- The make staff at the bar, cafeteria was rude.
- The wheelchair lift was out of order , so had to navigate a rather steep ramp in and out of hotel. Would also be helpful if the disabled parking was a bit closer to the front door
- The desk staff wasn’t the friendliest. Having to pay 6 € in a property like this is a money grab. For this amount should be included.

Interesting modern building with large open common spaces.
We stayed in the detached wing off the main building which was closer to a busy road making it quite noisy and had no views to speak of. Asked about changing rooms to one with a better view but said it was not possible because they were completely booked.
Stunning views from the parador. Breakfast option was great , friendly service
The bathroom was old and outdated
The location, the view, the pool, the room.. The facilities are really great. Short taxi ride, you can order from the reception, about 7-8E one way.
We felt that we were always disrupting the staff... A few of them were really nice, but overall our interactions with the staff didn't make us feel that welcome. We had to ask a lot of questions to get some help or explanations about how breakfast worked, etc.
Excellent location and great food with lots of attention to details.
AC in room wasn’t working , maintenance came twice and after change of room also the second room had limited AC, couldn’t cool the room and was very noisy. My feeling was that they limit the temperature to save energy. Reception told us in the morning that the temperature outside dropped in the night and it was nice and fresh. Unfortunately the AC system doesn’t get fresh air from outside and only recycles the air in the room so you are fully dependent on the AC system. Several other guests complained about this during breakfast as they too experienced the same issue. For a hotel in this price range AC should not be an issue.
Great views and spacious room. Wonderful breakfast. We liked the throwback brutalist architecture.
With this view, the pool area could be spectacular with remodeling the pool from its large utilitarian and unattractive enclosed form to an infinity pool with that spectacular view of Segovia’s skyline. We were also quite disappointed that there was no bar service at the pool. The shade umbrellas were too small for two loungers, prompting its to split up and take two umbrellas, and even then having to move to stay in the shade every 30 min.
The view from the room is world class - the aqueduct, the cathedral, the alcazar, really beautiful. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, with extremely comfortable beds, and high quality sheets. Service was overall really good (with the exception of an inattentive bar tender in the afternoon). In the morning, I went to the restaurant to ask for a coffee, and the women who brought it out then carried it all the way to my room for me!
There's not much to dislike. Others have complained that this parador is too modern, but it's quite nice nonetheless. It's also not easily walkable into town, but you know that going in.
Although untypically modern for a Parador, the architecture is amazing and all the windows face the incredible view. The breakfast was very good. Dinner was good but preferred the more interesting restaurants in town.
We love to walk so didn’t mind the 45 minutes plus into town, and even found a hiking trail to use, but a shuttle service for those not able or inclined to do the trek would be nice.
Amazing views, from all terraces and from bedrooms, really beautiful. Swimming pool was great and warm, staff was nice, comfy bed and great stay over all.
Breakfast is quite expensive, and we didnt know they close all exits to the garden and viewpoint area at night, we were hoping to take some night photos but you are not allowed there in the dark. We could see the night view and lights from the bedrooms as well so it was good.
The room was lovely with great views. However the "Amigos" program was poor as you only get points if you book through Paradors directly. There were no points for meals and drinks purchased. Booking through Parador directly is more expensive so we were "paying" for the points! Breakfast was expensive but good.
The bar and breakfast service was poor and because it was poor, I will not go again which is a shame as I generally love staying in them.
Some paradors are exceptional unfortunately this is not one of them, a little shabby and tired, food mediocre. But good natured and friendly staff
Excellent view and very nice staff. Fireplace in the lobby was amazing.
The room was old, the bathroom very old but functional, but the worst was the way they are setting the bed linings. They were not very comfortable, as they kept wrinkling all the time with each movement in bed.
Very good breakfast, comfortable bed, lovely views over Segovia.
Beautiful location and great service
Beds are not comfortable. Very hard to plus only had two twin. We were a couple and had to sleep in depending beds
This was our first visit to a 'Parador' in Spain so Segovia was an excellent choice. We had a superb room on the 4th floor that overlooked the whole of Segoivia, which was fantastic for both day and night! The room was both large and well appointed and the en-suite bathroom was well appointed and complete with Marble walls, floor and sink basin. We had half board so had both breakfast and dinner in the fantastic dining room which again had the super views of Segovia, and the food was really very good with a superb choice and great staff that were very attentive. This type of hotel - Parador - is very good for experiencing the old school way of Spanish hospitality and I highly recommend it.
Due to the extreme weather that occurred on Thursday night (high wind and rain) we had a drought and wind noise coming through the patio door/window from the balcony, we dropped down the outside roller blind which helped and with the thick curtails pulled over it became acceptable but better door seals would be better.
The Parador was beautiful. There was some remodeling when we stayed, made it difficult to figure out how to get to the restaurant. We enjoyed the stay, plenty of parking, again some more blocked off, probably more construction getting reason for the upcoming season.
The cocktail lounge staff. That could have been a lovely experience, what tainted the enjoyment was the staff. If you are going to be in the hospitality industry then since we patrons are the reason they have a job. I suppose the fault here lies in management. If management was actually doing their job, the uninterested staff would not be functioning they way we continually observed. I brought this to reception but that was the same as preaching to the choir.
Fantastic view of City . Easy access location .
Dinner very poor and overpriced .
Location 29 minutes walk into old city, on site parking, spacious room
Noisy toilet overflow (room 431) no tea & coffee making or bottled water in room which we have had at all other paradores so far.
