Hotel Montermoso

Convenient location just off main road heading North to Santander. Lots of free on site parking.

Noisy from room above due to hard floors. Noisy from wooden staircase next to our room. Toilet seat broken. Food in bar very poor.

The hotel was in a great location for our trip. Easy to navigate to/from. The staff was very helpful and eager to answer our questions.

Lovely well located hotel

There was a function on so difficult to get a table in the bar/cafe. The reception staff said we could eat in the restaurant and leave our three dogs in the room on this occasion but we didn’t feel comfortable doing this. Just one of those things.

The room,the fact that we could have our dog in the bar and enjoy the restaurant menu, to which the meal deserved a score of 15, as it was fantastic. Great stop on the way to the Santander ferry

The lights on the beautiful staircase were not on at night. The tv was a long way from the bed.

Great Hotel for the value, conveniently located. Nice restaurant, great food very courteous staff. Rooms are old but charming, and huge. Beds are super comfy and linen was white crispy. They accommodate guests with dogs, which I think is great. The front desk staff is amazingly helpful and professional.

Staff friendly and professional. Food in cafe also very good. The hotel is always welcoming that is why we stay here 4 times a year.

Not all shower functions worked and even so we got a queen bed, room was very old stylish not as per pictures a room I have booked.

Had to leave at 7pm the noise from a party in the restaurant below was unbearable

The hotel is very convenient for a stopover travelling between Costa Blanca and Santander/Bilbao. It is a short drive from the motorway. The room was clean and modern. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We stay here very often. It is always perfect, staff, food, and beautiful rooms. The most important thing about Hetel Monterosso is the elegant lady who owns and oversees that everything is perfect. Somethingvery rare in this day and age..

Hotel good but restaurant let it down

Weird restaurant. No potatoes or vegetables served with the meal and no option to add any. My meal was just a pigs trotter on a plate and nothing else. Never experienced anything like it before

Great location, clean, comfortable rooms

Liked it so much came back for a 2nd stay. Perfect stop over on route to the Costas in the south

The location, rooms and restaurant are always good. It's the second time we've stayed here and will use it again. Perfect stop for driving down to Málaga.

There was a problem with the air conditioning in the room, not a problem for us because it's still cool at night. I did report upon leaving so hopefully it will be fixed for the next guests.

Very convenient location en route from Santander to Costa del Sol. Dog friendly and plenty of areas and tracks to walk the dog.Friendly staff.Room was very clean and comfortable.

Well located hotel just off the motorway. Very friendly and helpful staff. Super dog friendly allowing dogs into cafe/bar. Lovely dog walks opposite along farm track with picturesque views. Tasty reasonably priced food. Free parking and WiFi.

Slightly outdated decor to guest rooms/ bathrooms but still very clean. Like all Spanish hotels there is a lack of sound insulation between rooms so if your neighbours want to listen to their tv on high volume then you have to also!
