I needed a night and they had one.Front desk people nice as was the housekeeper.Clean bathroom.

Putrid with smoke residue. The place old and dark; lots of deferred maintainence.The carpet in my room was HORRID, filthy and old.Slid open the window to find hundreds of cigarette butts stuck in the planter running the length of the window.Cheap bed and cheaper pillows.Street noise...

Firstly I should point out that staff went out of their way to make a bad situation better.We arrived I'm the middle of a heatwave. We discovered there was no air-conditioning or fan in the room. This is a booking.com problem. I used the filters to specify air-conditioning but somewhere in the process it was dropped without me spotting it. First impression of the room - oh dear. We could smell the shower curtain as soon as we opened the door. Rank. Staff gave us another room. The bathroom was miniscule. The shower curtain smelled rank We had a sleepless night. Noise from the street outside and also other guests slamming doors kept us awake.Staff gave us another room the following day. Again the noise and heat deprived us of sleep.Never again.I want to stress that staff were helpful, but their hands are tied. The hotel is old. I'"m sure it has its place but not for me.

the location is great.

The beds were old and uncomfortable. The rooms smelled like smoke. Everything was worn and outdated. The bathtub was barely large enough to sit in with legs bent.

Basic and old. Very cheap and everything is a bit battered. Full of character. Friendly (my Spanish isn’t great but they are patient. Right in the centre of Palencia. The rooms are comfortable and have what you would expect.

Good location! City center (Cuatro Cantones) is at couple of minutes...walking.Besides by downstairs there is a 2nd St: Gil deFuentes and there is a City Bus stop. Bus #3,#2 & #1 can be got there. Fantastic!And also a Cafeteria is downstairs. Breakfastand Daily Menu (€13).

Little bit problem with the shower. Just youhave to take care regarding the water. No bigproblem anyway.

Extremely good value for money. Great location. 10 min walk from station. Near interesting buildings, river and centre.

Walls quite thin, could hear flushing and showers in nearby rooms

Everything was great. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good choice to stop by to rest from a long journey.

Would be better if more attention was given to the refurbishment.Had a feeling went back in time, 1980s , it's not always a bad thing ??

The personal was helpful with my bike

My room was towards a loud road. As there was no aircondition I had to sleep with open window and threfore with a lot of noise.

Great location, large room with armchairs and side table for resting. Very clean and smooth bed sheets.

A bit old-fashioned hotel. Only hot water came from tap, either cold or hot position.

Good price for 4 persons, good location near the cathedral.Friendly and very helpful staff but no English at all!

Noisy room with a window to the back yard, television and snorkeling sounds all night long.The house looked like from the 80s without any renovation. Shower broken.

The room was pretty big, the reception was open 24h/24h which saved us because we had to travel in the evening and arrived after midnight. They were shops nearby to buy breakfeast in the morning. The bed was quite confortable.

It's a detail because we only stay for one night but the room was less modern than the pictures suggested (old furnitures) and smell a little bit cigarette smoke. But in general good feeling.

Great location . The people who work there are really nice.

The toilet flush was really noisy in all the rooms ! The water wasn’t completely cold , I did enjoy brushing teeth with warm water !
