Location is good if you are coming via train or bus.
Upon coming, I was ignored by the personal who were right in front of me. They definitely do not know how to handle customers. They were rude and unprofessional, making me feel absolutely unwelcomed. No explanation about anything was given. The woman in the reception did not know how to scan a passport. I had to tell her what page to scan. Note: it’s a traditional EU passport, nothing strange. The room was super smelly, as if the previous guest had been smoking inside. As a non-smoker, being in a smelly room gave me headache. I complained and they put a machine in the room. It did not solve the issue. The walls were very thin, and I woke up throughout the night because of noises. They entered the wrong departure date, so on my last night I had to spend quite some time on the phone with some guy because my card was no longer working. He told me “the battery of the card is dead”, which infuriated me even more, because cards don’t have batteries. If anything, the door had a battery, but it was working just fine. The guy on the phone was trying to chit-chat with me. I was exhausted after a long day of working, wanting to go to my room to rest, but the card was not working and I had to follow up with a guy on the phone asking me where I was coming from. ?
Very central with a short walk to the cathedral and restaurants. Clean, good mattress, pretty much what you expect for a short stay in a hotel.
Paper thin walls. You can hear everything.
I have stayed here a few times. It is always reliably good. Basic but clean. Good facilities.
It is getting more expensive. I didn't know how long I was going to stay so had to pay a day at a time. Each day seemed to be more expensive. This is the first time that I remember hearing people snoring in the next room.
The location is excellent. Parking on the hotel street and nearby streets is easy and cheap. The rooms are not bad at all for the price.
Nothing in particular. I knew this was a budget hotel and I was even surprised to have found air conditioning that worked very well on a scorching day.
Hotel close to the train station, and to shops & restaurants.
Nice and clean close to city center staff very friendly and helpful
Cleanliness and location.
The bed was broken.
Friendly staff, cleanliness and location.
Great location ( 2 min from train station; 3 min from bust station; 1 min from Calle Mayor )New bedrooms; clean and fresh; comfy bed; large shower.
Very very thin walls so you can hear guests from the rooms next door. My rooms was at the rear so no traffic noise.
Close to the train station and old town. Room furnishings and facilities are simple, efficient and of good quality. Clean.
Location, location, location but also clean, comfortable and a bargain.
Bathroom was tiny but usable.
Fantastic location for exploring Palencia. Bed was comfortable, room was basic but had everything needed.
Reliable. Always friendly, clean, cheap.Could have more facilites but I never need more and I am glad of the low price. I will be back - probably several times
I never understand the eating area and how to use it. The vending machines could have more variety. R
Noisy, not very clean. I had to leave the hotel because I couldn’t sleep, fights, people talking, partying. I requested the refund and in case IDon’t receive it I won’t use Booking anymore
Good location near the train station, which was what we wanted. Basic and functional.
Noisy, from other guests and little sound insulation.
Clean comfortable and close to centre and station
Location was second to none just the top of Palencia's high streetGood value for moneyStaff was extremely helpful, courteous and honoured my requests when I ask for changing my room
Double-glazing in the windows, not because of the climate but because of the noise
