The staff and food were exceptionally good.

A noisy and inconsiderate party were there for 2days.But we wouldn't blame management.

Very nice quiet place. Good beds. Very clean. Nice and warm. Good rooms and very nice bathroom. Very light in the night and easy to find in the dark.

Nice people and warm welcome. The lodge is nicely located outside town in the foothills, in a very relaxing place. Being off season, it was even more relaxing. Parking is easy. Breakfast is enough and quite good.

The restaurant is overpriced compared to most places in the area and one dish arrived cold (most likely a frozen bacalau). It was a bit disapointed because the personel was very gentle.

The fabulous staff and excellent food. The drive north over the mountains after our stay !

No improvements suggestedIdyllic as it is. Staff were sooooo helpful especially Alba (?) who checked us in and was our restaurant hostess at night.

The place is beautiful and very well maintained. The garden and the surroundings are just magical. The staff members are extremely friendly and helpful.

Just be minded that if you’re not with a car, a steep walk will be required. But this is also what makes it so special

An unexpected gem. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful grounds. Great food. Authentic 70's feel to rooms. We were only passing through but hope to return.

Very beautiful and well maintained grounds, very clean room and very friendly and helpful staff.

However, the decor of the rooms and common spaces is outdated and inconsistent, and our room was close to a dining area and the pool and people's noise kept us up until late hours in the evening.

Loved the friendliness of the staff and the grounds of the hotel were very nice!

It's a little drive up a steep hill, so you have to take a car... but it's worth it!

Excellent service. Breakfast was phenomenal.

The shower wasn’t great, not enough pressure and no easy place for leaving your soap.

Location, staff, food

Great location for visiting the surrounding area and swim in the natural pools. Very quiet location and really feels like you are in the middle of nowhere, although you are fairly close to the main town of the area. The food on offer is great and reasonably priced, and the breakfast was delicious whilst simple. The surrounding garden is where dinner is served under the starry sky - priceless.

Wonderful location in nature, quiet and peaceful. Lots of space to explore on the property (pool, playground, garden...) Our dog loved the forrest around the property and was warmly welcome. Friendly staff - so we needed to common language :)

The breakfast could be improved but well its hard to please everyone
