Hotel Rural Quinta da Conchada

The staff were so kind. The view was lovely. We enjoyed the food and the spa.

The property is on the edge of a river with fabulous views. We stayed in the bungalow which is compact, but well equipped. The staff were fabulous and nothing was a problem. The restaurant is fabulous, most beautiful meal. Breakfast lovely. Overall wonderful hotel.

Beautiful location overlooking a reservoir, that was very quiet and relaxing. The room was large and bright. The included spa was enjoyable as well as the outdoor pool (cold plunge in early May!) There was abundant free parking on-site. The food at the hotel restaurant was good -- not great. The breakfast buffet was great! The beds were pretty comfy! Good wifi connectivity in the room. Nice to have the elevator to get to upper/lower floors.

We were in a disability access room, that had a bathroom with a cabinet on the wall that was a safety hazard (easy to whack your head). Getting hot water to the room was very slow! It was pretty far from other eating options, and the food somewhat overpriced. The breakfast buffet opened late and wasn't staffed to prepare the crepes when we were there to eat. The staff was nice, and helpful, but not overly welcoming -- perhaps a language barrier, that disabled them from being so?

the conchada is in a lovely location, quiet countryside ,the rooms overlook the river. room adequate but basic facilities. plenty of choice at breakfast, e.g fruit, yoghurt, croissant ,breads , cold meats cheese etc,, fine for me but if you are a fan of hot english breakfast the choice was more limited( precooked fried and scrambled eggs and sausage)

I was travelling solo on this occasion but had i been travelling as a couple would prefer a bigger bed. Also would like coffee/tea making facility in the room, although this is often not provided in Portugal.

Unpleasant odor, possibly from a septic tank, outside the hotel near the car parking area.

The setting was great, bungalow accommodation had a nice deck at the water's edge. Breakfast was really good, wonderful views from dining room. Staff was all very friendly and welcoming.

The bungalow had a musty smell throughout our 2 night stay (despite using the minisplit unit to dehumidify). Also, the window in the bathroom wouldn't stay open to allow for extra venting when showering.

Although the Hotel itself is great, the exceptional part for me was the location itself. It was amazing to be hosted on a bungalow just by the beautiful river.The staff are all very nice.The restaurant is pretty good too. Both the breakfast and lunch/dinner.

The bungalow is great, and it's very cozy, but in colder days it's less comfortable if you want to use the spa for example, because you have yo go through the outside, into the main building.

Located right on the river. Our view from the room was perfect catching the sunset behind the hills.

The view was beautiful. It was very quiet and peaceful. The breakfast had a lot of variety. The staff was wonderful and did everything to make our stay excellent. The spa was relaxing.

The room and the facilities are very clean and comfortable, the room has a view over the mondego River, which is beautiful in the mornings and at night..The restaurant serves delicious food, and the service is excellent.

The A/C didn't work in the room, so it was very cold at night.The water in the Jacuzzi were luck warm.

The hotel is located in a fabulous location - by the river with a view of the mountains. The hotel rooms were classic, the same as in most other places, but the greatest value of the rooms is that they have their own balconies where you can enjoy wine and the sounds of nature and the river in the evening. Very delicious food in the restaurant, large portions. We were also pleasantly surprised by the breakfast options. I would definitely like to come back here someday.

Very basic and small room , also mini bath room.We had 2 trolley and one suitcase and we had to put the suitcase in the shower .

This hotel was absolutely perfect, exactly what we needed for a relaxing couple of days during our Porto to Faro road trip.Our large corner room had panoramic views over the lake, the spa facilities included pool, sauna and hammam and were most welcome. The restaurant made excellent Portuguese cuisine and genuine cocktails. The external pool was immaculately clean and the staff both efficient and friendly.

Absolutely everything about this boutique hotel was amazing, the staff were so polite and helpful, food was lush and the location magical.

The location of the hotel right on the river, boasting amazing views all around.The large room Windows and the balcony overlooking the river.Staff was genuinely nice and warm, and attentive, quick to respond.Everyday we had a complimentary large bottle of water in the room.The pool is great to catch some sun, swim and relax.The restaurant is very good. One of the evenings it was warm enough, so we had di ner outside, overlooking the river. It's priceless.

We would have liked a big bed, instead of two individual beds.

Amazing staff, very friendly and helpful. It was no problem to have diner outside, or any other request I had. Even brought drinks to the pool. Great location, beautiful views
