Pros +
- Bed was comfortable, the room was spacious and quiet. The pool was beautiful, the breakfast was fantastic, the elevator was larger than most European elevators.
- Amazing hotel. Large pool. Biliard room. Very nice rooms. Great breakfast. It was one of the best stays in Portugal. Great value with teenagers. We would love to come back here.
- A big pool. Fairly quiet place
Cons -
- Paying 4 euros for a bathing cap and 1.50 euros to rent a towel to use the pool.
- The smell in the room. This is an old building with the classic problem of humidity and bad ventilation, leading to horrible smell due to fungus (mofo as Portuguese say)

This was my second visit, a perfect hotel for a visit to the spa, with its own indoor and outdoor pool. Rooms are good, very comfortable and a good price for the facilities offered.
Great location. I wanted to visit the thermal spa and there is a sort of tunnel between the hotel and the spa, right next door. Breakfast buffet was wonderful. Hotel was beautiful, and they had an elevator, which I needed because of a leg injury. This town is also a little gem. . Loved filling my water bottles with the healing Luso water, along with the locals, who brought large jugs to the fountain in the village center. Also loved walking in the magical Buçaco Forest that is very close by. I would definitely stay here again!
Nothing!
Everything! Beautiful building, nicely modernised
Strict rules re swimming pool which we adhered to, incurring expense re swimming caps and hiring pool towels but rules were ignored by others and there seemed to be no enforcement.
very clean, with very friendly people, restaurant with excellent food and located right in the center of the village. an excellent option for family stays
The food and service in the restaurant were exceptional. Breakfast was not limited to sweet cakes and pastries but included cheeses, eggs, etc., and the variety was pretty good.
Amazing surroundings, Mata do Bussaco and Thermal de Luso
We couldn’t book any massage or activities in the Thermal Spa. It was full booked and Sundays and Mondays it is closed.
Good hotel. Nice rooms. Very good breakfast. Outdoors and indoor pool. Highly recommend it
Nice hotel in a small town, very friendly staff and very nice breakfast service!
pool is fantasticThe SPA offer even if is expensiveThe children's animation the garden wonderfulThe old staff very good
breakfast is to much industrialized an hotel as Luso must to have more homemade food The restaurant is only buffet and the Bar alternatives are very poor the swimming pool bar also with a menu very limitative ... never had pao alentejano for the toasts sunday evening and monday lunch, the young employees need more training
The room was very clean and tidy. Ideal location and balcony. Food was fantastic and staff very helpful
Nice gym and sport facilities.
People serving breakfast are not kind. Breakfast is taken before the time it should finish. Rooms need some maintenance (again).

Staff were great, especially Oscar, the loveliest person ever.
A little dated and felt a touch musty but nothing which interfered with the lovely stay I had there.
Chairs low.Only on one place enough light for reading a book.
buffet rather simple
Very tasty breakfast, good location near Bucaco Forrest. Spacious and clean room.
