We always stay here on our way to and from the Algarve. We love that they are pet-friendly and that we can have a good dinner. It was delicious for an „all-included“ price. Perfect.

The hotel, staff, location and restaurant were all amazing! The hotel exceeded our expectations! The staff were more than accommodating. We hosted an 18 person lunch and the food and staff could not have been any better. We would highly recommend this hotel and hope so be back.

The hotel is located in a charming village; it is easy to find. It has its own car park on site. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, comfortable with good facilities. The breakfast was buffet style with good choice.

Friendly lovely local staff, very great service, comfortable times for check in/out and breakfast. The breakfast was compact and tasty. The dinners where traditional Portuguese with very big portions and a lot of taste.

It is a bit outdated, but that didn't bother us since everything is clean and maintained

The hotel needs to be completely rebuild, too old and too used in so many aspects, the beakfast needs to improve but understandable due to the amount of guests.

I didn’t have breakfast there ! The bath tub very small and would be nice if the rooms had a couple bottles of water !

Price was very good for the room

Booking.com sent the wrong address to me and this hotel had a name change 60km round trip to another town and back

Like always the perfect overnight stay on our way to the Algarve. Everyone is very friendly and also dog friendly ☺️. There is a parc across the street for a short dog walk. The dinner was excellent. Half board for a very good price.

As a motorcyclist this is a mecca and is geared very much towards providing riders a fun and comfortable stay. Great lock up garage for bikes overnight. Fabulous bar with a free first beer on arrival. Dinner was ample and tasty and this family run hotel is like a home away from home. It felt like we were visiting a friends home and stating over. The rooms and decor is dated but this was not a bother to us and just added to the charm of the place. The hotel and rooms were clean and the bed was comfy. Great value for money but the staff make the place. What a great change to have such a personal interaction and welcome.

Nothing really. If I had to be really picky it would say that the breakfast could have done with some hot food but frankly I left feeling that the hotel had exceeded my expectations.

Super helpful and friendly staff. Great location. Great view from my room (w balcony!). Had a fantastic eve meal atvtheir restaurant. More than satisfactory breakfast.

Great staff, good restaurant albeit with a limited menu

The owner was fantastic. Hey greeted us as soon as we entered and we couldn't have felt more welcomed.

The waitress who served us was cold and somewhat rude. She yelled at the kitchen staff.This waitress and another young gentlemen conducted a very private conversation with the owner in front of us and both my husband and we felt very uncomfortable hearing it. We left dinner as quickly as possible in order not to hear more.

The hotel was handily placed for nearby motorcycle routes and had handy underground parking. The food was good and the overnight stay was excellent value. The hotel needs a bit of modernisation but that adds to the character.

Friendly staff. Interesting historical titbits in the reception area. Pleasant outside garden part of the pub. Food local and ample.

Walked in to a very friendly welcome and within minutes was helped with parking my van in their locked garage. Then led to the bar for a much needed cold beer :). Dinner was in their restaurant where the owner had reserved me a table and I took their advice on the food, which was great, and very good value. After a decent nights sleep and breakfast was on my way again the following morning

The location was very convenient to the highway and it was walking distance to the Castle and other sites. Staff was friendly and welcoming, even to our small dog who traveled with us. The room was spacious and clean, with plentiful storage. The bed was comfortable. Extra blankets were provided for cool evenings. The bathroom was large and clean with a full size bath and shower. The food was delicious and reasonably priced; we enjoyed the daily breakfast and had dinner on 3 nights. The bar was cozy and welcoming. The host/owner was directly involved in assuring that we were comfortable and made us feel like welcome guests. He even had dinner with us one night! Housekeeping service was provided daily. We highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a quaint, authentic stay in a hotel that feels more like visiting someone's home.

No fault of the hotel, but I wish the weather was better, as we would have liked to enjoy the patio outside the bar. Hopefully next time we will have nicer weather!
