Quiet location, friendly staff, good restaurant. Very good breakfast, omelette, egges, bacon, etc. is made fresh by a cook.

Location and ambience

Beds where super bad. Bcs of the cooler the room was smelling the first hours

The room was nice and spacious. The balcony and the view was excellent. I always enjoy the rainwater shower. The bathroom was clean.

The room did not have carpet.

Beautiful location right on the waterfront, comfortable rooms. Restaurant at the hotel was excellent. Excellent cycle storage.

Storage area for cycles was very good, but would have been improved a little if stands for bikes, like ours, that are not fitted with a stand had been provided.The setting, beside the water, was lovely. Sitting outside, enjoying a beer after a long day's cycling made for a perfect end to the day!A short walk into the town was well worthwhile and very interesting.

Noise from outside the room as the wedding party and band from the hall on the opposite of the courtyard departed.

We were on a bike tour of north eastern Netherlands. This was our favorite overnight stop from 8 overnights.The room was large, with a lovely view of the river and a great balcony that we sat out on, It was really a very comfortable room. We ate dinner there and again it was great. What a lovely location. All of the staff were so helpful.Bike storage was great. A locked room with charging points.Breakfast was fantastic. A very large selection of food in the buffet and a pleasent bright room to sit in.

The location was excellent, the a la carte dining at Franks was excellent

Rude waiting staff, no mint tea available for breakfast, tiny beds, cleaning staff just pulled duvet up to make bed, very old and tired decor, impossible to book a room via the hotel itself, dingy rooms, ......

Room was a bit “dated” but good quality and spacious. Very quiet and comfortable. Restaurant is excellent all round and good value

Nice to be right on the water.

My bedroom was very dated and tired but the bathroom looked like it had been updated fairly recently.The general decor was not that great in the foyer and on the landing. As well. Could definitely do with quite a bit of updating. I had dinner there as well and the food was rather disappointing and quite over priced for what I had. Breakfast choice was also a little limited unfortunately.

Nothing concerning the hotel itself, but I arrive it was already "night" and leave in morning... No possibility to enjoy the nice view from the room

The rooms are clean and large. The view is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I would recommend this to other people.

The rooms are a bit dated and the breakfast selection could be better. But otherwise eveything is great.

Outdated hotel, now in renovation , smell bad, for such money ! We had kinda renovated or semi renovated room, doors still from 70s., poor room design, like still in progress? Always noise from water pipe (?) somewhere in the sealing, was very bad sleep. For half of the price+ earplugs it would be ok but 145+€ is way too much

Large bedroom and decent sized bathroom, beautiful views of the river.

Cold bedroom ( we did turn the radiator on but the thermostat must be centrally controlled) and extremely early check out at 10.30am on a Sunday morning.

The room was spacious and clean and the view was magnificent!

We were woke up by the noise of renovation work in the hotel at around 7:30 a.m. and that was annoying.

Good service, very friendly to our dog. Nice environment. Good parking.

We were in the second building with not a nice view. The charging box for the car is very slow (only 6 kw).

Breakfast excellent. A great little town to explore. Dogs very welcome and allowed most everywhere.

The location was stunning. We had a room facing the water - it was clean, spacious, with a large terrace on which we could sit and watch the barges and wildlife. Breakfast was good and tasty, had we known we could have had fresh eggs cooked for us while we watched .

The staff were indifferent to the point of rudeness. The receptionist ignored us for the first few minutes of arrival and then hurriedly checked us in without telling us about facilities, no mention at all of the pool closure. The restaurant staff ignored us completely. We walked in and sat down passing several of them without even a ‘hi’. I think it was supposed to be table service, but we waited and ended up going to the bar ourselves to ask for a beer and we were given Heineken without any questioning if that was the one we wanted. Breakfast was the same, no information about the fresh cooked eggs or pancakes. We were on the way back from Norway so had plenty of service to compare with. We went out for dinner, there are some really good restaurants a short walk away.
