Great location and all the staff were friendly and helpful.Breakfast and evening meals were superb. This hotel has every facility you could possibly need.

Helpful and friendly staff, breakfast options and products quality and the mattresses that were very good.

Spa facilities are very small and water pool could be warmer. Lack of programs/activities to offer guests.

Great check in staff. Lovely room, spotless and comfortable. Good parking facilities. Breakfast was very good for our needs.

Evening meal in restaurant. Food was from small menu. However, we ordered 4 starters for 4 persons. Two came. The other two came1 hour and 10 minutes later. Two of us were served main course before the others had their starters. This spoilt the evening.

Excellent location, looking over the town and mountains, a short walk into town. Easy to park.

The bed was massive and super-comfortable, with great pillows. I am a really fussy person and often have trouble sleeping in strange beds so this was great. The indoor swimming pool is not big but lovely, and the sauna and steam room provided much-needed relaxation after a hard day's work. The hotel was very easy to find. I'm only disappointed that I forgot to ask what time the bar shut, because by the time I wanted a drink, it was already too late. Would definitely stay here again while en route through the douro valley; it will be even better when the sun's shining outside. I also liked the amount of space in the wardrobes, the towelling robe that was provided, the rituals toiletries, and the big tv and desk to work on.

Only that I didn't have more time to spend there when I realised my drive home was 4 hours not 2 as I'd thought!

We absolutely loved the location ! But what made the difference on the last leg of our trip was the exceptional service from the whole staff. Whether it was the front desk for suggestions of what to visit- or the very attentive and helpful restaurant staff, everyone was extremely nice!

Stunning views over the town, infinity pool was beautiful. Relaxed on the sun lounge beside the pool all afternoon. Good sized rooms with balcony and large sliding doors. Friendly staff and very welcoming. We ate in the restaurant, meals were delicious

The hotel is in very quiet place. We get to stay in a room with a great view to the village. The staff was very kind and the facilities clean.

The time to serve at dinner in the restaurant was a little bit long.

The vew from the hotel over the city and surroundings is great. It is worth to pay a little more to have pool view which actually means view of the city. Breakfast was okay but coffee is not the best. Fantastic staff, really nice and helpful. The hotel has a indoor pool and an outdoor pool (this one was being clean but not problem since it is not yet so warm as feeling like going to the pool). We were happy to find such a nice hotel in this location. We will be back and we highly recommend it.

We liked everything. If anything, we could suggest that a bar closing at midnight. Closing at 11 pm is sort of short.

Breakfast was excellent ? The staff super nice. The room with an excellent view, and confy bed.The inner swimming pool and spa was a plus at the end of day, to relax ??

Too noisy, there was a huge group making a lot of noise and there were no doors close to.minimize the effect.Not properly organized during breakfast, a lot of the things ended and took ages to be refilled e.g coffee.Not a 4 star hotel for sure.

I have no words to describe my amazing experience. The breakfast, staff, rooms, and facilities are perfect!

The room view was not as expected. The balcony was in the back with a huge rock in front, so we were unable to view the beautiful landscape around.

We had to ask to open the sauna and turkish bath in order to use it. It was not working all the time
