    Pros +

    • Place was really good, location is right at walking distance to where all restaurants are, so great, still very easy to access and afterwards leave town. Breakfast was good with enough veriety of the things I like to have.
    • It was a modern hotel but showing signs of aging. For the price, including a good breakfast, it was right on par with other hotels. The surrounding area was a town used to seeing lots of tourists, so I’m glad the price was not inflated.
    • Area

    Cons -

    • It is not super quiet, could definitely hear my neighbors and just that day there were some political parades going around and where quite loud. Nothing earplugs can prevent. (I always travel with them)
    • Rows of delivery mopeds outside. Constant noise, talking and road
    • Our room was booked last minute but it did feel more like a Hostel then a Hotel and room looked nothing like the pic! The drainage water pipes ran through the room so when people above showered it was noisy. Very dark at one side of the room with the double bed so we opted for 2 single beds near the windows. Pillows were very bad and lumpy! Ok for one night.

The breakfast and value for money. We did have a side river view which was a bonus. Managed to get parking outside the hotel on meter.

Comfortable stay. Room fine, breakfast nice. Shower took a while to warm up in the morning but fine after a few minutes. Would stay again.

If you want a short stop in regua with functional, clean and well priced room stay here. Close to station and main entertainment and restaurant area

The location was perfect for links to trains and buses

The pillows were filled with foam pieces. The walls were thin and there was no hot water the first 24 hours. I had a very poor welcome which did make me feel I had booked the right place.

    8ClairePosted on: 11-12-2024

Very close to train station. Hotel were very happy to hold our luggage both before check in and after check out. Decent breakfast with a nice view.

Breakfast includes in the price was a bonus.Has not realised there were so many floors. Manager kindly changed our room to a lower floor as we are pensioners and there was no lift.Lovely view across the valley.

The whole place could do with a revamp

Breakfast was very good for 2 cyclists. Hotel us very central in Regua

    4TiagoPosted on: 9-2-2024

Staff was pleasant and nothing else.

This reservation was made months ago. At that time, due to gluten and lactose intolerance, I asked if they had breakfast options that include gluten and lactose free options. They confirmed it would be available but when I went for breakfast, the only option was lactose free milk. The bathtub from room 103 is clogged.

    Not much

    Noise, old, uncomfortable bed

    8PeterPosted on: 7-16-2024

Very handy for the railway station, and close to the main street. Simple check in, room a little basic but clean and comfortable. Breakfast choices OK with usual standard buffet, no hot food, but toaster and sandwich toaster provided which was good as I could make my own toasted sandwiches. For anybody in the area make sure to take a train trip along the scenic Douro Valley, the best bits are east of Regua, although the views going west as far as Marco are also very nice

Polite and efficient staff, high level of cleanliness, good price near the railway station.

Near to a main road so traffic noise.

    the location. staff.

    a bit dated in places.

    6RoyPosted on: 6-12-2024

Right by the train station close to the river.Breakfast was fine - not very tasty but ok.

Staff a lil impatient, don’t always speak English or Spanish.Facilities were not very good.. lamp doesn’t do much light and has weird electric noise, WiFi issues, no elevator..I mean it’s pretty cheap but it feels that way.
