Esperia Palace Hotel & Resort Spa

Location is very good

Indoor pool even though this should have been booked for our family and friends only we where very disappointed. Not hygienic as other peoples towels and cups were all over the place. Got stuck in the lift and the receptionist (male) wasn’t helpful. Instead of calming the situation as the female receptionist did a lot of drama was going on. Not good value for money, the hotel is not really a five star hotel. A lot of maintenance is required. When compared to local hotels in Malta this is a 3 star hotel.

Everything was super. Room, breakfast, spa, staff was very helpful, location. Couldn’t have chosen any better

The facilities. The indoor and exterior pool as well as the Spa. The property was very clean and spacious.

There are nice views from the hotel and the room we were given was really spacious. The location was great if you are visiting the area for Etna.

On the negative side, it was a very dirty hotel, which bothered us the most, a carpet out of the rooms that was never vacuumed, probably for a very very long time, it had dozens of insects killed everywhere on it and none bothered to clean throughout our stay. No coffee in the room, just 2 sachets of tea, and you had to pay for water. We stayed for 4 nights and they did not change our bedsheets once. The breakfast was poor, most of the mornings they were no other guests in the restaurant area. The only warm dish was eggs, and those you had to cook by yourself in a boiler. Lots of flies sitting on the cold cuts (meats and cheeses). This is definitely not a 5 star hotel, maybe a basic 3.

Room was comfortable and staff were friendly. Breakfast pastries were delicious. Kids hours at the pool area for children.

No bar or restaurant in the hotel for during the day or early dinner. Hotel restaurant only opened at 8pm. :(

The accommodation is situated in a quiet place, with lovely views, a modern and relaxing environment.

Pillows were too soft.

Nice and clean hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff especially at reception. Breakfast was very good with healthy food options. Nice outdoor pool. The location is very close to Etna and the surrounding area picturesque.

The indoor pool did not communicate with the outdoor pool because there was a barrier.

Clean and modern. The spa facilities are very nice. Considering it's a 5 star hotel, it's very well priced

The hotel did not have a restaurant for dinner. The closest place was a Michelen star restaurant, a few minutes walk away. While it was a really nice restaurant, it was not a place to go with young children, and the staff there made us feel this.

hallways needed cleaning and air conditioner didn’t work just blew air not cool.some trouble with internet

Very Spacious rooms, clean, and the all the reception staff were really helpful ! Breakfast was OK, but could be better as for variety..

The fact that there is no bar and restaurant open on all days inside the hotel.. if only there was a bar with at least snacks our stay would have been much better

I think the best accommodation of our Sicilian trip, very beautiful and spacious room and amenities. Good buffet breakfast and nice facilities. I recommend it!

By far the best hotel I stayed in when it comes to Sicily .Service is excellent.Rooms are modern ,spacious and super clean.Views are fantastic.Decent B fast and also good parking.To top it all of the restaurant is out of this world food and service.

Water in the shower too long to warm up.Also a bit far for main areas if you don't have a car( for sure not a deal breaker thou !!) ..This is just a comment and does not mean it caused a problem .

The hotel has great view over the sea. Rooms are spacious and clean. The staff are extremely helpful and very service minded. There is a nice pathway and garden from the main building to the adjoining restaurant. The city itself also contains some fine and nice restaurants.

Clearly the hotel is coming back from the difficulties during the Covid period - and some areas still need to be back on full levels - but they will get there :)

Breakfast was not very "local", and also international breakfast was a bit sad (eggs&becon cold and dry)

the Hotel was a bit faded, like just opened after winter closing.

Wi-Fi was not properly working, bed lined has never been changed (5 nights), there was no room service, no coffee or tea station, restaurant was operating only on weekends and by appointment, room not properly cleaned.

New very nice hotel. Perfect service . Very friendly . And very delicious restaurants. One of the best experiences in the hotels lately . Very well done and good luck . Our ferry is in the morning and usually hotels keep us waiting until 3pm. Even if there are places . Here were no problem with early check in .

Everything was good probably first time at all .

The staff was great and made the stay very nice. Dario was a great support and service minded.
