All members of the staff I interacts with were superb!

All was well with the property. What I did not like was the crowds and noise in the middle of the night, after the fireworks. This was on the street behind - in the abandoned house. Lock came off after one in the morning and crowds of people were standing around, by the door screaming and making all sorts of noise.

Soft mattress, at their price the parking should have been included.

Well designed room making good use of space. Comfortable.

Although may not have been possible in town, guaranteed parking nearby would help. Also, since breakfast not until 9h00, have coffee available in rooms or downstairs for guests who prefer coffee earlier in morning.

Good location and nicely presented hotel.

As we were outside of peak season the hotel was quiet with only one member of staff. Although initial helpful at reception the beds were not set up as twins which we had asked for although this was rectified. The spa was not working which was the reason why we chose this expensive hotel, although reluctantly apologetic there was no change to the price or other dispensation offered. Trying to get a drink took ages and the bar staff were not at all helpful or friendly. I am sure if you went here mid season it would be lovely but my expericnes for arranging a group booking of cyclists was very poor.

Portable air conditioning, only possible to use by opening the window to vent which defeated the purpose! One member of staff had to run reception, bar and many other duties simultaneously which cannot work

It was really a fabulous stay. Comfy rooms, nice lobby and chill out area. Our only suggestion is the excessive decorations. Less is more ?

There was one girl on reception who was lovely but basically had to run everything and she tried her best. Good friendly vibe and the food in the resturant was very good.Tip: set satnave for churchyard for parking

Lovely girl who basically ran everything and tried her best but it is just not possible to be a receptionist + bartender + waitress all at once. Having a portable air con unit in the room which only works with a hose stuck out of an open window does NOT count as advertising that the hotel has airconditioned bedrooms. Also strange that after going to room they then went to "make the beds" (that looked perfectly fine and pretty) which entailed them removing the decorative pillows/cushions and decorative bed spreads, shame as after the room seemed very dull and didnt have any extra pillows then.

Never stayed in a 4 star hotel with so few staff. The lady in reception when we arrived Jennifer was fantastic!

Excellent location in the heart of the village. 10 free parking spaces nearby. Facade of hotel traditional village style but on entering the interiors are modern, colourful and quirky. Bedrooms very modern and comfortable. Had a really good nights sleep. Jennifer the receptionist gave us a lovely welcome and was around the hotel to help with any questions. A very bright, friendly young lady.

Firstly you cannot check in between 4 pm to 8pm as the hotel is closed. Not sure if this is due to low number of visitors at the moment. Breakfast is only available from 10am. Far too late for most travellers.

Very friendly and helpful staff, spacious rooms, very good food in the hotel restaurant. Parking was secure and convenient.
