Hotel Alexander

The swimming pool, the views on the lake, the location, and how kid friendly it was! They were super lovely and super accomodating. The location is superb and it is absolutely adapted to kids (they even gave our little one a bathrobe for his size!).

The beds were unfortunately very hard which made our rest not as good as we thought it would be. But that was the only thing!

The views are beautiful you couldn't ask for a better view of lake Lucerne it's a really lovely spot to be in.

The staff are rude and have low level customer service skills, the room comfort is adequate beds are extremely thin with poor quality linens, facilities extremely outdated gym equipment, pool is dirty, overall I was disappointed with this stay as it's not cheap, you pay for the view which is free when you walk down the street just makes you analyse what your really paying for, customer service is slipping and continues to slip in the hospitality industry. NEEDS A FULL UPDATE AND OVERHAUL

german front desk who welcomed us was very unfriendly and we didn't feel welcome

The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The wellness/spa area is very nice. There is an indoor and outdoor pool and my friend and I really enjoyed the outdoor one because of the beautiful view of the mountains. The buffet breakfast was also very good. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. It was very relaxing for me!

I found the room a bit cold even though the heater was on the highest level. I called the reception and they had someone bring a portable heater right away.
