- The staffs are the real star of these stay! Really welcoming and friendly.Location might not be the most bustling but if you are booking a wine tour this is a great place. Hotel is at the heart of Vosne Romanee.Room was really cozy and comfortable. A great stay for sure!
Cons -
- The bed was very "squishy," and needed to be much more firm. Not sure if it was just old or a poorly made mattress. Turned over caused my partner to wake up frequently.
- Not good value for money. Staff didn't make us feel welcome. Restaurant disappointing.

Nothing!
SPA is very goodRestaurant is no good. Red wine is no good, too cold, and close.
Room and facilty
Dinner, not acceptable the taste of food. Not enough proper wine glass.
Attractive garden. Nice rooms, dog friendly
I thought not being able to eat dinner there having spent c 300 euros for a room was poor.
The staff had gone the extra mile to facilitate our family of four (2 year old and baby) and a dog. There were little gifts for each, a baby bath, cot and baby soaps as well as a dog bed, bowls, poo bags and treats. We were really impressed with the consideration and accommodation of our needs.
Lovely gardens, great food. Handy location for the highway.
A warm April day but the hotel aircon was not working in the rooms and they were unable to fix the problem.
I love the spa that’s right there next to the hotel. The massages are great too!The breakfast looked great but if like me you’re limited as to what you can eat, €25 is a little steep.
We have stayed at Le Richebourg many times before , but we were lucky enough to stay in a fully renovated room , just delightful , the room , beds and bathrooms are tasteful and comfortable …

Breakfast very nice.Staff very helpful and friendly.Great location.
The room was fabulous. A really good size and nicely decorated and kept well with a great decking/balcony with personal hot tub , we stayed en route to the alps and would definitely consider staying again in future we didn’t use the spa ( lack of time choosing to walk instead) the restaurant was lovely too
Nothing at all to dislike everything was perfect
The location, the atmosphere as well as attitude of staff and their kind approach is the main reason.
We have been staying at Le Richebourg many times in the past 8 years. (11th times was yesterday)It’s on our way from Italy to the UK but the main reason we’ve chosen to stay there was the welcoming attitude and ambiance. I recommend this place to anyone whose after a happy stay, good meals and surely the best wines.
Good location very good room
No kettle, and coffee machine water tank was not cleaned, heavily calcified needed to be scrubbed down. When I asked for a jug of hot water they poured it into an unclean coffee server which had sediment.
Love the beauty of this place, the modern rooms but in a classical wine setting. We normally love the spa.
This visit it was understaffed and it was super busy. We were told it wasn’t possible to eat despite calling in advance and all restaurants in the town were closed. They finally fed us but it was cold and the service wasn’t warm either. We felt ignored. The spa was also overrun and there were no chairs to use despite booking a place. They were kind the next day and apologized but not to the extent we would expect given the cost. We normally love it but we would hesitate come back this season .
Very friendly staff! Large room with great facilities! Very comfortable bad!
A lovely hotel, with tastefully decorated rooms. Great restaurant serving many dishes with local produce. We are regular visitors to this hotel and as always the staff are friendly and helpful.
Good location. Nicely refurbished. Large room.
Dined at the Richebourg restaurant one of the nights. Food is OK. However, there is a door into the restaurant from the garden which was opened by a few diners that night and every time there was a cold draft that wafted over to our table. It became very irritating.
Good spa available to hotel residents. Reasonable sized room - we chose one with a hot tub on our balcony and it didn't disappoint! Restaurant excellent - both evening meal and breakfast. Sommelier was most informative.
Despite booking the restaurant in advance, on checking in the staff initially told us they didn't have our booking. Having established they did, we arrived later for our meal, only to be told there was no room in the restaurant. We weren't the only people in this situation. We chose to have a drink in the bar while waiting for a table- others ate their restaurant meal in the bar.
