    Pros +

    • We were upgraded to a suite—large comfortable rooms, with small terrace out front. Nice reception. Excellent food served for reasonable price. Brilliant location.
    • Great location on Camino, comfortable bed, great shower, quiet balcony.Great menu dia for dinner and breakfast was great for next stage of Camino where there are no facilities until Villaviciosa.
    • Welcoming, very helpful staff. Lovely room, very comfortable bed. Marvelous breakfast and dinner available. Relaxing atmosphere and garden. Best stay on Camino del Norte.

    Cons -

    • Nothing—no complaints.
    • They could use more comfortable pillows and better towels. Breakfast was a bit disorganized. It might be helpful to assign tables to specific rooms so that the food can be laid out before all the guests arrive at 8 AM.
    • For a three star hotel in a town that’s in the middle of nowhere. The price was absolutely absurd! In terms of value, it really didn’t stack up, but it might be the only three star hotel in town.

Lovely quirky hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We stopped for a night whilst walking the Camino. The food is really good. We had the pilgrims menu which was very good value. The breakfast was outstanding and the coffee was very good. The courtyard is lovely.

The hotel is located at the Camino del Norte path, close to the town center. The staff is very friendly. Excellent food at the evening, and a great breakfast at the morning.

Entering the hotel from the back through the garden was magical. The staff was very welcoming and the room was very clean and comfortable. I had a balcony overlooking the garden dining area protected for privacy by a beautiful bougainvillea. The food and service were excellent (lunch, dinner and breakfast). A great place to stay in Colunga on the the Camino del Norte (or for any other reason!).

Comfortable rooms, great options for dinner and breakfast and excellent location, especially if you are walking the Camino. Lovely patio and bar area.

Very cute spot, bohemian and cozy! Pretty good location close to lots of restaurants next-door to a market

This has been our favorite night on the Camino Del Norte thus far. The hotel is an oasis - so quaint and charming. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. And all the staff were so friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this location.

We really enjoyed our overnight here while walking the Camino del Norte. The hotel is quirky in a very pleasant way, with comfortable beds and lovely common areas. The garden is very lovely. The breakfast is a great deal and the staff was very attentive throughout. Very highly recommended.

On the Camino path, great location. Stores and restaurants close by. Nice, reasonably priced pilgrim meal in the evening. Very nice staff.

WiFi is terrible! Also, a little hard to find - entrance is off the road behind the hotel.

Beautiful old house renovated tastefully and comfortably. Great garden with views. Lovely staff. Nice, simple and inexpensive dinner. Beautiful little town. Homemade pound cakes at breakfast.

Hard to say anything negative. If pressed, I’d say yogurt should be part of the continental breakfast. ;)

Beautiful garden; large, quiet room with character, and a large bathroom. Very friendly and helpful staff went above and beyond.

A lovely, homey boutique hotel with a warm and caring staff. Excellent Pilgrims dinner and breakfast. A very nice outdoor seating area for coffee and drinks. Rooms were good. Absolutely a great experience just staying here.

A truely Beautiful place The staff are very warm and friendly, the property itself is full of character . Our room had a large window you could stare out all day. The continental breakfast with home made cakes is delicious. Highly recommend staying in this lovely welcoming place. We booked last minute and had a quick reply to let us know everything was set for us. Thank you, we can't wait to visit again

Beautiful accommodation and gardens in a nice quiet spot close to everything. Reception staff were lovely. It was great to have heating also.

Hot water was only lukewarm warm until the next morning.

This small hotel was a complete surprise, from being in a beautiful “indiano” house to the array of small decorative items to the comfort of my room in the third floor; but most of all, the kindness and attentiveness of the staff. Centrally located in Colunga, close to everything, the value to price ratio is outstanding. This hotel is a gem.

Having to leave after just one day,

Fun, funky place with big covered outside area. Room was very nice. Breakfast was additional and very good.
