Cons -
- Outdated furnishings, but clean and fit for purpose with good value
- Wish the rooms were soundproofed better but it was quiet at night
- Restaurant wasn't open for dinner & the place we were told to go for dinner wasn't open. Local bar didn't do dinner, so ended up eating olives & packet of chips for dinner!

Perfect location on Camino del Norte. Quiet, comfortable room. Welcoming host. Excellent breakfast.
Very friendly staff, great location (literally on the Camino), comfortable and spacious rooms, excellent restaurant and fun, lively bar, especially when a La Liga match is on!
Great place, restaurant attached, friendly staff

10/10 is not enough. The room was really comfortable, the view was excellent, and the food was incredibly delicious. They were really nice and they’ve helped us a lot despite the language barrier. We loved the village and the beach, which is even more beautiful than in the pictures.
I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel: everyone was kind and friendly, the room was spacious and comfortable, the restaurant had plenty of gluten free options with affordable prices and the location was great
Wish the rooms were soundproofed better but it was quiet at night
Very well located right on the Camino route and offering everything you need for restoring your body and soul after a long day's walking. We particularly like the dining room with west facing views. It's the only public meeting place in town so it's full of locals and has a good atmosphere
I was walking the Camino and all I expected was a place to crash. What I had was an unexpected surprise. First, I booked up a room with twin beds; possibly the effects of a low season but as soon as they saw me that I was 2 m tall, they upgrade me to a double bed at no additional charge and the view to the ocean… spectacular . The hotel has a restaurant which appears to be one of the meeting points for the entire community with the variety of patrons providing a good vibe. Their Comida, was so far THE BEST I have had in the Camino. Friendly bartender/server/receptionist. I inquired about a pharmacy nearby for bandages(too many blisters). There’s no pharmacy until the next stop but she provided me with some. I meant the owner of the next day who serve me breakfast(included) very pleasant man. I let her know about my great experience.I wished them a Buen Camino with this endeavor.
The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very nice and we enjoyed dinner in the restaurant.
Breakfast was basic but OK

Restaurant is absolutely recommendable ! Staff is great but speak spanish only.Room was big, bed comfortable, bathroom has everything you need and is clean !Large parking
The staff are incredibly friendly and the food in the restaurant was excellent, as was the breakfast. Very good value for money.
We had a room in the eaves so no view anywhere unless you stand on steps! There were no bedside lights for reading and the bedding was synthetic. Luckily we had our own pillows. This is a shame as better linen would really elevate the experience here.
Great place, large rooms and very good food. Helpful with directions to Playa de silencio..
Nice, clean, very friendly! Suitable for pilgrims! Good restaurant
Friendly and clean not a lot of places for food but breakfast was included so that was helpful.
Just a wonderful hotel staff very polite, helpful and do anything for you . The restaurant food was very good and the hotel well set out and locals used it as weell . Which is just brills for me . Well intergrated intovillage life
The owners. So pleasant and helpful. The food. Good food and generous portions. The location. Ideal stopover (between Santander and Galicia), near motorway but peaceful. The bathroom. Great shower.
No reading lights in the bedroom. Upstairs (in roof) so would get hot without air conditioning.
Staff was wonderfully helpful. The town is small but so comfortable to stay in.The restaurant attached is amazing and the food was great and affordable. I slept like a log there. Also has a nice deep tub for relaxing in the bathroom
Location on Booking. Com is not quite accurate. Location is further down the road
Good location, friendly staff. Good restaurant.
Could use some renovation. Our room was above the outdoor seating, where people talked and smoked until late.
