- Very cozy with a bed-and-breakfast like feel to it. Great help from the staff. Very comfortable room.
- Beautiful property. Excellent breakfast.
- The house exterior and interior decor and location to Cudillero town.
Cons -
- Could use some air conditioning
- Room was stuffy. Air was not working.
- I don’t really write reviews but I felt I had to in this occasion. There was a modern adjacent apartment building that belongs to this property which took away from the ‘feel’ of the house and there was an ugly building across the street. There is a noisy campground visible from my balcony next door. The property asks for guests to be respectful of the noise but it was the maids that made the most noise yelling across the yard for toilet paper and dragging buckets and banging objects on the floor while cleaning well after 4pm. I asked the woman attending the afternoon shift if she had some ice I could have to soothe my fever and she asked if I was staying at the hotel and I thought to myself what an insulting question, I felt unwelcome and she begrudgingly fetched me the ice. I believe she was Latin American and wore glasses. The correct and polite question would have looked like this, What room are you staying in? I felt like I was being treated like a criminal. The owners never greeted us rather just looked at us without saying a word, not even a good afternoon. My first impression was not good. They were actually friendly before check out. I felt we were treated differently than other guests prob bec we didn’t fit the ‘rich type’ of clientele they r accustomed to having. It was not a relaxing stay at all, especially with the noise and dog barking day and night. One more thing, there was a guest smoking at 10pm and the smoke rose up and into my room. I will not be back nir will i recommend this to friends. There are too many better choices abounding nearby. Do your due diligence and ask questions before committing to reserve.

Great place, great staff, cozy, a nice bar downstairs, walking distance to resturants.
This is an exceptional Casona. We had the pleasure of staying in the Tower room which was absolutely beautiful. The wrap around terrace gave us beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. The bathroom was large with double sinks and lots of counter space and nice shower tub combo. The common areas are beautifully furnished with comfortable seating areas and the gardens are gorgeous. Breakfast was wonderful, with variety and made to order - make sure you add this to your reservation. Although this property is outside old town Cudillero it has the convenience of easy on site parking. Old town can be reached easily by car or with a good stair work out on foot!Staff are helpful with great advice for exploring area and speak English.
Enjoyed everything.
This hotel is amazing - it’s more like staying in someone’s (beautiful) house than a hotel. From the moment we walked in we were made to feel at home by Juana and her incredible team of women, who run the hotel so smoothly.Breakfast is served daily with table service as well as buffet cakes and pastries in the exquisite dining room. The garden, the decor, the staff, the spotlessly clean rooms with sheets that smell like roses… it’s the best hotel we’ve stayed in.
Outstanding elegant renovated with love manor house run by 2 fabulous women. It could not have been nicer. And the restaurant we went to El Centro was also great. Local , walking distance Delicious. Many thanks
We had the rooftop apartment and it was amazing. All of the staff were friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay special. The food in the morning is delicious and the gardens are beautiful. Highly recommend. We will be back!

The property is so beautiful. The rooms are very clean, elegant and comfortable. The staff was the best part of it. Very welcoming, helpful and professional. We recommend the breakfast, it’s delicious. We liked our stay so much that we made new reservations for next month!
The building, the garden, the common area, the staff, the room, the breakfast, the hospitality.
Beautiful place. Loved our stay, shame we couldn’t stay longer. After a 2 night ferry to Bilbao we drove three hours to stay here on our way to Portugal.Wow! As lovely as all the photos and reviews say. A real slice of heaven. The owner (I think) - was so warm, friendly and helpful. She allowed us to check in early as we had had no sleep on a very rough crossing.Beds were comfortable. Room on the ground floor quiet. The roaring fire was a godsend after a long cold walk back up the hill after dinner. Breakfast was lovely! All home cooked and served to your table. A beautiful place. Would definitely stay again on another road trip!
Wish we could have stayed longer! The first person to greet us was not overly happy about us arriving at midday to see if we could check in early after 2 nights of no sleep, despite me messaging to ask first thing, thankfully the lovely owner was much more accommodating. Thank you.
Excellent breakfast, friendly and super hospitality from the staff
the beds were a bit soft for our taste
The full atmosphere of this coastal area.Lovely accommodation.Beautifully looked after by Montse, Tamara andRachel. They have the perfect way to serve breakfast.Ian Lee.I would love to reply to my accommodation atPazo di Esposende hotel at Ribadavia. For me I had no choice. It was totally wrong.Position wrong. Service nil. Bathroom problems. It has caused a lot of problems leaning into my cancellations.I still may have to fly home early.Ian Lee.My accommodation at Lekeitio, Santillana, RibadeoWonderful places to stay with lovely old character.
the problem at Ribadavia will be taken further.due to an injury I required a hotel where I can have easy access from the hotel to centre.this place was isolated from the town by some seven kmsthere was no one at all and I mean no one to be seen. The manager/owner had gone by the time I went to his office to discuss certain things re the room.it certainly caused me few problems like needing sleep in the car.and you ask did I have a problem with that accommodation?yes.
This hotel is run by two very talented women. From the welcome to the goodbye they were delightful and extremely helpful. Breakfast was great. The coffee was perfect and there was an impressive range of breakfast food on offer. This place is an absolute gem.
I could only stay one day!
An incredible oasis . Room was a great size . Beds were comfy . Breakfast was awesome . Hikes in the surrounding area were breathtaking . Staff was very helpful . We'd return in a heartbeat .
Leaving .
Beautiful mansion maintained impeccably. Comfortable and truly special. Gorgeous gardens. So much attention to detail! Breakfast was superb. Parking on site was great! Great recommendations from the staff on where to eat, and the best place to buy Asturian cheese on the way to the next destination!
It’s a beautiful old manor house but in like new condition. Fun walk to Cudillero for lunch. Quiet with ample landscaping all around.
Only leaving!
Our room was clean; the shower was great and it was nice to have big towels; the bed was very comfortable
There was a staff member I found to be quite passive aggressive and that made me feel uncomfortable Also, we were not happy that breakfast was not includedWe had requested a room with a view of the garden but actually all we could see from our room were the tops of some trees
The location and the Manor House itself - charming with lovely garden. Breakfast was very healthy and tasty at only €11 per person.
It was a little noisy at bedtime as you could hear other guests in other rooms.
Beautiful, well maintained and tastefully decorated place. Staff was amazing. So friendly and helpful. Breakfast was yummy with fresh ingredients and good coffee.
