Good location and comfortable room
Parking was at the marina and a long walk to room
The location was beautiful. The man running it was very helpful, also patient as I struggled with my basic Spanish. Quite comfortable.
Nothing really.
The location in the charming town of Cudillero was perfect. The hotel was delightful. The rooms were very nice and the beds were comfortable. The host was very friendly and helpful. This breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend this hotel!
Everything was fine and you couldn’t be more central. Breakfast was a la carteWhich sometimes is better. Coffee was good.
Very slight musty smell.
Very nice clean cosy room, with a little Galleria with 2 chairs out the back. Very personal family hotel run by a couple, who s family house it was
Quirky hotel in a pretty and quirky town. Hotel was made from stone which gave it character. Good location - tucked away behind buildings but could be found if you looked for the blue colour of the building. As other reviews made clear you had to park in the port (free parking) and walk to the hotel. It was easy for us with small wheeled bags but would be very difficult if you had large or difficult luggage.
The restaurants in the town didn't seem that friendly. Not a problem with the hotel, but to be considered in terms of its location. I felt that the town was a bit "over" being a tourist attraction however we would not have wanted to miss it.
It is a delightful hotel and we had a very good experience overall. The hotel itself is incredibly cozy, with well-maintained facilities that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Its location is excellent, just a short walk from the port, which is the most charming part of the village. Our room was lovely, offering a picturesque view over the rooftops of the village. The staff was friendly.
The only downsides were the lack of air conditioning, which might be an issue during hotter months, and a slight smell of humidity in the bathroom. Despite these minor issues, we truly enjoyed our time and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant stay in Cudillero.
the location is excelent
the room was quite basic; it was ok for one night....
Caring staff who responded to all our requests. Excellent location and rooms were of the highest quality.
An amazing hotel in the center of the most amazing city we visited on our europe trip! The entire hotel was like living in poished furniture -- all of the finish work was perfect and our room was super-quaint even with a jacuzzi tub. Amazingly, it was also one of the lowest priced hotels, but we booked early. The hotel has no parking, but dont be concerned, this a huge free or low-cost public parking lot just before you enter the city coming in from the north. We paid just 3 euros total because it is free from 6pm to 9:30am the next day. If you arrive early, it costs 1 euro per hour from 9:30am to 6pm.
It was almost perfect! The only slight downside (really slight) is I don't believe the room has A/C, at least we could not find it. That normally would not be a problem because it is a cool sea-side hotel, but a flock of sea gulls lived outside our windows so when we opened the window it got a bit noisy. But that is a super-minor thing, staying at this immaculate and quaint hotel in this amazing city would surely be a highlight of any european trip!
WHAT a place! Fantastic location, only feet from market and restaurant square. The property is well maintained and room 102 has beautiful stone and slab walls--some two feet thick with an outside veranda of sorts looking upon two of Cudillero's foot paths. It wasnt perfect (slight odor to room and shower pressure was low), but staff and decor made up for it!
Great room, location
Room was cold and humidTurn on the heat!
A very traditional room in a pleasant hotel close to the harbour. Nicely furnished! The staff were helpful & we appreciated the early check-in.
The room was rather cold during the bad weather (June!). The whirlpool bath didn’t work. A conventional shower would be better.
Right in the heart of the town but quiet enough to sleep well. A lovely little hotel with very friendly staff. Very reasonably priced and had everything we wanted. Had a lift if your bags were heavy too.
All was good
The room was clean and cozy! The bed was comfy! The interior of the hotel has exceptionally well preserved timber! ? The location is great!
The sound insulation could be better, as you can hear very well what's happening in the nearby rooms, but I guess it is normal in old historical buildings. ?
Great location. Value for money.
While not too inconvenient, bear in mind that there is no parking near hotel. After dropping off luggage you need to park your car in the free public car park approx 750 meters from hotel. The room is small but for a one or two day stay fine.
Very clean, staff very friendly and great location.
The room doesn’t have a fridge.
Cute charming hotel. Nice wood floors and stone walls. Owner was helpful. Parking was about .25 miles away. Night was quiet
The add says it has a hot tub and when I asked the owner said no
