Great location to reach the local beaches; the hosting family /owners are very friendly and nice, they helped us plan our activities and gave us a map. The breakfast was good.

Everything, the room and facility were clean, spacious and inviting. Hosts very personable and helpful.

There was nothing not to like!

House Manoleos was honestly beyond expectations. The spacious, clean, bright room with a sea view, an excellent breakfast taken by the pool. Nikos and his family are very nice and friendly. They simply make you feel at home. Nearby is one of the nicest beaches in the area, Kalatha, with wonderful water and usually not crowded. There were enough taverns nearby and for those who want food, 2-3 supermarkets relatively close. It's true, you need a car, but if you go to Crete it's a shame not to have the mobility to visit everything. I would return with great pleasure.

Our stay at Casa Manolesos was fantastic. Before our trip, we were in touch with the Nikos, and they were able to help us arrange a rental car (though we didn’t end up using it). Communication was great, and we were even able to check in earlier than expected. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and they showed us our room. We were also given a map with important landmarks and recommendations for things to do in the area.The property is well-maintained, with the pool cleaned daily, and our room was always fresh and spotless thanks to the wonderful housekeeping staff. The entire place is thoughtfully decorated, with cozy seating areas, including a charming outdoor shower in the garden. Fresh towels were always available, so you don’t need to bring your own. The bed was incredibly comfortable—I slept wonderfully every night. The rooms are spacious, with plenty of storage, and included amenities like Wi-Fi, a TV, a fridge, and a safe.The breakfast was another highlight. Every morning, we were treated to a delicious, traditional Greek breakfast, freshly made for all guests. It was a great way to start the day!Casa Manolesos is in a perfect location—just 10 minutes from Chania Airport, but still peaceful and quiet. It’s close to a lovely beach (less than 5 minutes by car with easy parking) and a supermarket. Plus, the view of the sea was breathtaking.What really stood out was the incredible hospitality. The staff made us feel like more than just guests—they genuinely cared and made an effort to get to know us. They were always available with suggestions for things to do in the area and made us feel right at home. When an unexpected incident occurred during our stay, they reached out to check if we were okay, which was so thoughtful.On top of all this, there are three adorable puppies on the property, and with two expecting, there will likely be more soon! There’s also a friendly cat that added to the charm of the place.

We had to leave and get back to the Netherlands again.

Nikos and his family is very friendly and suggested some day trips to take from there. Absolutely amazing service. Breakfast was to die for. Could honestly eat that breakfast every morning. Cute pets running around and not far from the beach. 100% would recommend for any type of vacation or even work trip :).

Everything was great. Wouldn’t change a thing.

The welcome and the values were so evident. So welcoming. They went out of the way to make us keep the room for my daughter who had a conference call and needed some privacy. Rooms were clean and the place is just beautiful.

It was a short period and would have wanted to stay longer

Honestly this is the best stay we experienced in our numerous travels. The hosts are really attentive and go the extra mile to ensure you have a great experience. The room is spacious, clean and an exceptional breakfast with a wide variety of homemade delicacies. The afternoon chilled water melon by the pool was really what you need on a hot sunny day. Lastly I will miss Lulu every morning wagging her tail during breakfast time. Will be back and a huge thanks to Nikos and his family for their hospitality.

Absolutely stunning apartment, large room which was kept very clean with new facilities. Fresh fruit and water in your room on arrival. Pool very quiet during the day and really relaxing. Close to the beach, local Taverna and supermarket, within walking distance. The selling point has to be Nikos and his family, they simply could not do enough for you and make your stay incredibly enjoyable. Fresh home made breakfast is available every day, plant based milk even provided on request. Nikos is really knowledgable about the area and things to do, and can assist in booking local trips. I felt very safe there as a solo traveller, Nikos and his family really make you feel at home. Their kindness is second to none! I can’t wait to hopefully return in the future. Thank you so much for the most relaxing and beautiful stay ☺️

Have been a couple of times in Chania and have always stayed in the old city centre. This property instead is outside the city centre and is overlooking Kalathas beach. Really a hidden gem and truly exceptional with a daily sunset view from the balcony. The property is very clean, and has all the facilities one expects to find during a holiday.The location is very good, quiet area, and at the same time it is walking distance to the beach. Some other lovely beaches to explore are just a few minutes drive away.The staff are super helpful all the time, and the service is outstanding.

Great host, clean rooms, excellent location!

Casa Manolesos exceeded our expectations!! We loved the owners, and they recommended a place to us for dinner that we could walk to and the food was excellent. Their place is lovely with a wonderful view, and their breakfast was perfect. We should have stayed there longer!!

Casa Manolesos is so peaceful! It has a lovely gentle atmosphere, the perfect place to relax. The rooms are new, clean, comfortable, everything is good quality, the view from the balcony across the olive groves to the mountains and sea is just lovely. And the breakfasts….are amazing!

You really feel at home at Casa Manolesos. The hosts are so welcoming and they always had good tips for trips on the island. Breakfast was amazing, the view is gorgeous and the apartment was perfectly clean.

Stayed at Casa Manolesos for more than a week and it was an absolute delight! Ideal location—just a stone's throw from gorgeous beaches and Chania, a town that exceeded all expectations. The hotel itself offers great amenities like a sea-view balcony, air conditioning, and a lovely pool. Everything was spotlessly clean. Enjoyed every day a wonderful breakfast by the pool. The hosts are truly kind and welcoming (thanks again for everything!). Foodies will appreciate being near high-quality restaurants under 20 euros a person, and practical needs are met with nearby supermarkets. Bonus for animal lovers—this place is pet-friendly! Can't recommend enough for a perfect Cretan getaway.

Exceptional welcome from the hosts, the traditional Cretan breakfast is an absolute must - beautifully served by the poolside.There is a Taverna around 10 minutes walk away (torch advised!) where food is available until fairly late.Ideally a hire car is needed to get around otherwise it's a case of relying on taxis that come at a bit of a price
