Thirides Beach Resort

The hotel is clean, the rooms are well-equipped and very comfortable, the pool area is well-maintained and the hotel is on the beach.

We loved everything.

Accessible property. Spotlessly clean. Buffet breakfast offers many delicious choices and a variety of coffees and juices. The restaurant serves excellent food. The entire staff is friendly and helpful.

I can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

The room is nice and the bed is comfortable. The place is also beautiful.

The room is labeled as a side sea view but there is no real view of the sea apart from a miniscule spot in the distance, the labelling is rather misleading.

Right on the beach with nice facilities, soft comfortable beds and pillows. Spacious rooms, homemade breakfast. Really enjoyed our stay and time at the pool.

Everything was lovely. I only wish that the door lock was different (with a key)since my 3 y.o could easily unlock it and leave the room!

This was the most adorable boutique resort. It was very charming and the level of care we received from the staff was spectacular. My family is from a village nearby Gytheio and staying at Thirides made me feel right at home.

There is something truly wrong with you if you didn’t like something about this property.

I don’t stay long enough!!

First impressions can be wrong. We thought our gps was malfunctioning as it sent us down a path through olive trees to a deserted beach. We parked near a small white fence and discovered a pool with a property that expanded back up the slope. The staff was pleasant, the pool and beach were beautiful. The room was quiet and felt private even though it was part of a cluster. At night, the town of Gyphio was nearby and full of interesting restaurants on the harbor.

The buildings and room were really beautiful. The staff were all really friendly and professional, from the front counter, to the bar and breakfast staff, and cleaners. The breakfast is by far the best we’ve had in two weeks in Greece.

The wifi is terrible, cuts in and out, and is weak, which I gather is an issue for the area. Not sure the hotel can fix it. No choice but to relax! The dinner menu could use a little more variety.

The room was very comfortable and quiet. The balcony was also very nice. Their restaurant and setting by the beach was beautiful, and was a great value. Food delicious. They were very helpful.

Our second time at this lovely hotel. Excellent dinner menu. First morning breakfast was disappointing as there was no hot food. Guess because they had just opened for the season but nobody mentioned it. Staff still excellent and beyond helpful. Thanks

Shower didn't work properly and the balcony really was too tiny for two people to sit on. End of the season so everything being packed up but I understand that!

Hotel consists of a few smaller buildings. There is also available in place swimming pool and restaurant Breakfast offer is very wide and it is delicious. Leaving resort we are on the beach.

Excellent location, beautiful room, delicious breakfast and friendly staff, couldn't fault anything, wish we could have stayed longer.

What a lovely little hotel. It sits on the other side of a dirt road from about 50 m of small-pebble beach and thereafter to the clear, clean waters of the Peloponnese. The hotel is an amalgam of Mani stone houses, and each room is (at least ours was) half a floor with a balcony. Our bathroom was large, the room was sufficiently large, comfortable double bed, commode, small fridge, good central air conditioning, etc. Very clean, very safe, very comfortable. Breakfast is again huge with a large selection of Greek and continental dishes (this seems to be a new trend and I like it!). Good coffee. So, you cross the dirt road, get onto the beach and to the hotel umbrellas...and then the sea. Cool, crisp, see-through waters. We did not try the restaurant at night, but by all accounts it looks delicious.

Thes are not "didn't likes" but rather "to consider": we couldn't find (in our room) recharging plugs or stations so we had to unplug one of the bedside lamps, which is fine and a little old-school. Other than that, this place is perfect.

Few kilometers away from Gythio. Long sandy beach. Enjoy and switch off your everyday business life. Room was small but OK to stay for half of the week. Staff were really nice. At check out, home made jam was given. That was really lovely. We opened it at home and it was super delicious. Thank you!?

As we like authentic Greek cuisine then dinners we selected at Gythio. Hotel also offers dinner if you lazy to travel 5 min to the city. This is just our taste. As hotel had mostly local visitors then for them skip “Horiatiki” for couple of days might be acceptable. People are different.

Beautiful hotel with relaxed but efficient service on the beachfront. Excellent in-house restaurant. Nice buffet breakfast
