Location was perfect. Right next to the beach. Breakfast was fantastic! Owner was so friendly. Made you feel so welcome.

Great location..close to castle, square and beach. Host was exceptional. Nicos was informative, friendly and accommodating. Our breakfasts were lovely. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. A great experience for us.

Everything!!! Niko’s was an excellent host. Very helpful, kind and informative. His breakfasts were phenomenal and his mother’s baking was delicious. How can you go wrong when every breakfast ends with dessert. Clean comfortable room with balcony. Lovely common room. Great location as walking distance to castle, beach and restaurants. Excellent value.

Liked everything.

Within a short walk of Methoni's beach and extraordinary castle, we loved the location and peacefulness of the Ulysses Hotel. Nikos was a wonderful host - friendly and helpful - great to chat with. Our breakfast, taken in the nicely shaded courtyard, was a treat of many delights.

Over-priced! Minimum stay of 3 nights!

We loved the delicious homemade breakfast served on the patio, shaded by fruit trees! Centrally located, walkable to town and beach. The hotel was comfortable and the patio was a lovely place to relax with a cappuccino.

A very nice and cozy hotel near the beach. The family running the hotel was extremely helpful and kind. Breakfast was personal, not buffet style. Very tasty and freshly made and the place for breakfast, which was located in a shady garden, was remarkably pleasant. The room was large enough and stylishly rustic. What I especially liked was that there were no masses of tourists in this city. Now of course it's hypocritical to write that you should visit the Methoni... but I do it anyway... just don't tell everyone about this nice town. :-)

That we didn't stay here longer.

Great spot, just a couple of steps from the restaurants, the beach and the castle. Staff was very friendly and did everything for us to have a great stay.

Nothing I didn't like.

Everything. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed and felt at home. This is such a lovely property with very kind welcoming owners. The breakfast is fabulous ( especially the cake) the room, bed, balcony were the best.

The location, cleanliness, the hosts, the breakfast ( home made treats ) plenty of it , the comfortable bed , outside dining, friendly atmosphere.. what's NOT to like about Ulysses Hotel .. we loved our stay .. Niko & Egne made you feel at home..

Location, parking, breakfast, owners go extra mile, friendly, comfy bed, quiet all great. Thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights there.

Very cozy place in the centre of Methoni. The owners were two of the most hospitable people we have had the luck to meet as guests.

Everything was exceptional!- amazing hosts (can also give you tips on where to go)- clean rooms (with good WiFi and smart TV too, extra +)- best sleep I’ve had in a long time- homemade breakfast - great location - easy to find parking - cute and cosy terrace

Small intimate... 7 rooms Husband / wife make an excellent and charming team.

Property was built 40 years ago by parent, but is an homage to early 19 th century... has a brilliant outside sitting area covered in an amazing vine - very cool ?

Very welcoming and helpful host, he gave us tips on places to see and restaurants in the area (very good suggestions indeed!). The hotel is very nice, with a beautiful patio and equipped with books, boardgames etc. It is located in the middle of Methoni walking distance from everything.

In the center, less than 5 minutes walk to the beach, castle and restaurants. Lovely garden terrace for breakfast, and very friendly hosts.

In the center of Methoni, with a wonderful garden to forget time in hot days….It’s more a home than a hotel….Very friendly boss, he serves a delicious breakfast in the garden….I sure will come again!
