The location was perfect : walking distance to the harbor..The staff was very friendly and helpful.The hotel was very clean.

Hotel Branka has a great central location. Close to bars, restaurants and small shops and only minutes away from the beach. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, always there to help. We especially loved the lively bar with its spacious terrace.

While functional, the shower in the family/group room feels a bit outdated and could benefit from an upgrade.

The room is on the 3rd floor, sort of an attic space under the eaves, with skylights for light. I was initially disappointed not to have a view through regular windows, but the sound of the rain on the roof was very soothing, and the beds were very comfortable so I slept well. The room was very clean.

I was a little disappointed in the breakfast which was mainly toast with or without cheese and ham, coffee, and orange juice but the juice was fresh-squeezed, so delicious and the coffee was good. Our tub/shower system broke on the last day, so I could not get a shower and that was disappointing.

The location is perfect a couple of minutes walk from everything in town. The breakfast options were very good local food well prepared and presented. The bar and restaurant in the hotel is not only convenient but has a relaxed atmosphere, great food and service. The staff were friendly and attentive. We loved our stay at Hotel Branka.

The hotel met our expectations in all aspects, there is nothing I would want added or changed.

It is not usual in the basque country to find such a warm weather, but knowing there was no airco I was hoping to be able to keep the windows open, but it was tricky to do so as, at night, people stop by to smoke and drink in front of the window or municipal cleaning services starts making noise at 630. Nothing that the hotel is responsible about, but it wasn't easy to sleep.

Location is great, close to the train station and the port.

No air conditioning, it was very hot, we disnt have a chance to cool off.

The hotel had a bar, this was nice, but if you are in search of an early night rest and some quiet time in your room in the evening, this is not the right place. My room was above the bar with terrace and above the reception and above the litttle square in front of the hotel. The bar was open until 11 pm, but mostly it took a while before al the guests left. And after that the staff cleaned up until around 12 without any respect for the rest of hotel guests (in my opinion), with loud talks and music. The first night after the bar closed the staff was talking very loud at the reception without any sense of other guests. And on the square there were also a lot of children playing until 11-12 pm. So i could not open my windows to let fresh air in.The 2 nights i stayed here i went to ask the staff to keep the noise to a minimum and they looked surprised that i could here anything in my room. But they kept the noise down.The facilities in the room could be a little more conveniant: a better wardrobe and hangers for towels (so they can dry). The furniture (beds and tables) looked old, maybe because the building is old the choice was to use furniture that is/looks old?

Breakfast was good, staff helpful but poorly trained to deal with issues.Location is good for walking and all local facilities.Garage parking some distance away and we had no instructions on how to access

Issue with electronic door access keys. We had someone enter our room after we had gone to bed. The following day we couldn't get into the room.Serious security issue here, not safe in our opinion.Referred to the property and Booking, no response from either yet.

A nice welcome. We sat in the bar and had a drink on arrival. Check-in was earlier than expected and staff were very friendly and helpful.

Our toilet door had a damaged lock. A balcony would have been nice, as the room was a little small and dark.

We had a lovely stay at the Branka Hotel in Mundaka, the room was tiny, however all we needed - a table, chair, TV, closet and a very comfortable bed. Bathroom was clean and everything worked well. Breakfast at the bar downstairs was great, you can choose from multiple options, both sweet or salty. I would definitely stay again.

The staff, really friendly and helpful

Price a bit too high for what you are getting, room too small. Everything was spotless though.

Location is ok because we were at the heart of Mundaka village, but that's a nightmare to drive in the village. We had a chance to meet a great student lady who worked there and did everything she can with the car park.

The car pak was a disaster: almost each day we had to change the car park we paid. Our room was super noisy and all the furniture inside was very old.I think it's much better to find another location than the center of Mundaka.

Footsteps away from railway station, very well located. Very helpful and friendly young woman at reception. Feels like an old building, but inside is modern, clean and comfortable. Comfortable bed, good WiFi, good shower. Bar downstairs, supermarket less than 5 minutes away on foot. Good base for very attractive town and location.

Mundaka is a beautiful village on the sea, and Palacio Branca is fantastic old building in the center of Mundaka. We loved the atmosphere, the breakfast is great and the staff is so kind and helpful...
