Aktaion Beach Boutique Hotel & Spa

We have stayed for 4 nights, went to megalochori couple of times, searched all the hotels in the area and i can tell you this is the one to choose. The location is amazing. The beach is clean. Hotel is near skala port, water is clear even if the weather is not good. The staff is helpful and always smiling. Special thanks to the restaurant and reception staff. There is qr code and you can order a drink or food on the beach as well. Towels are provided. Each umbrella has a safety box. The room has huge balcony. The food and drinks are extremely tasty

Breakfast was decent, there is some room for improvement.There were some dusty places in the room and the bathroom door was creaking while closing. Entrance door needed to be locked from the inside before leaving and that was a little bit annoying

Wonderful location right next to the ferry dock and on the beach.Rooms were kept clean by house-keeping every day, which we liked.

Didn’t like the breakfast at all.. after 2 times we stopped going for it at all. Very poor quality. The pool was very small and loaded with chlorine, it cased a bad rash to one of our kids. So we stopped going there as well. Be aware that the grounds and rooms unfortunately get a lot of mosquitoes. be aware and bring some protection agents for it. Had a lot of issues with poor water pressure in the showers and running out of hot water in the middle of showering.

Love the location, the sunrise, the beach just a few feet away. Breakfast was so good. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

I liked everything No complains would stay here again. Highly recommend it to anyone.

Water pressure in the shower. Though it seems to be an issue all over greece...

We love Agistri in general but this hotel made our stay feel even better. Super comfortable, cosy, with everything we could need and lovely people. Would come back 100%

A small little detail would be to add some kind of insulation tape to the door of the room. We can’t hear other rooms but it is possible to hear people in the corridor. But again, a small thing

The staff in the hotel were so friendly, lovely and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with amazing balconies and beach views. Location is great to right on the beach. They have a selection of books to read and a great sauna and spa area.

The spa was closed which was ashame but its the start of the season. Luckily the lady at reception let me use the sauna still which was super relaxing.

Due to the end of the season, many things were not operating, but it wasn't mentioned when booked (it would have influenced our call of even getting to the island)The spa was closedThey started already shutting down the sea chairs at the beachthey were lack of dessertThere was no kayak or Horse riding options (by the way the horse ride isn't near the hotel and needs to be driven to 30 min).

Very lovely stay at Aktaion, off season so not all services were available but the breakfasts were delicious, room service was very prompt and the staff were all incredibly kind and helpful. Would absolutely come back again, if only to try their spa ;)

Would have loved to shop at the boutique which was always closed while we were there, but to be honest I simply didn't ask about it! Other than that I have no notes, 10/10

The breakfast was lovely ad tasty, the room was lovely, the beach was wonderful, and the location very convinient.

The location is amazing, a minute from the beach and 5 minutes from the restaurants and boardwalk, yet it is relatively quiet and peaceful. The food was good and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is great for families, and the family rooms are spacious enough to accommodate families with older kids as well as toddlers. To sum it up: we loved the general atmosphere of the place. This hotel is family owned and managed and you can feel that they put their heart into it.

Most rooms are wonderfully renewed and renovated. However, ours wasn't, and it definitely needed to be. The wooden floor was cracked and broken in various places, some cabinet doors and drawers lacked handles, the tub cover was loose, there was mold in the bathroom, etc. Again, the staff was extremely helpful and so they switched our room with another family room when one became available, same category but in better shape and with an AMAZING sea view but I think the condition of these older rooms should be mentiond upon booking. Also, the room could use a window and a shower curtain in the bathroom, and there were no vegan options on the breakfast buffet.
