Pros +
- The owner operator showed my wife and I an absolute wonderful time. The island was beautiful and Carl helped whenever he could! The hotel is right by the beach and the price of our stay was well worth it! I loved this place and honestly wish I was still there!! Thank You Carl! Mark & Laren
- Location was nice and in walking distance to everything. Nice people.
- Very friendly. Very clean. Very quick to respond with any questions. The room was large and comfortable. We liked everything about our stay and we’re very pleased with the family who ran this business. We highly recommend this property and would love to visit again.
Cons -
- Everything is very small, especially the bathroom. No space to put anything, except on the sink. Desk is cramped in front of the bed and you have to crawl over the bed to get to the balcony if someone is working on the desk.
- We loved everything about the property. We do not have anything negative to say.

Friendly service. Wonderful and passionate family owners. Erik, Yannis and Salvatore (I may have spelled them wrong) are fantastic at making sure we were well taken care of during our stay. If I do return to Aegina in the future, it is because of them. Location of the hotel is also perfect, close enough to the port, and in an area quiet enough to take in the relaxing atmosphere.
I could not think of a single thing
the bed was comfortable, the staff were great, and the view from the balcony was great
The bathroom sink faucet was loose and the pipes vibrated when turned on fully. The traffic in front of the building.
Very friendly staff- we were made welcome immediately upon arrival! Excellent views from the room and excellent location.
price, staff, location
Excellent location, easy to get to for the port and old town and elsewhere around the island
I thought we will get a room with a sea view, while our room was on 1st floor and had a view of the hill.
The room was very comfortable and organised, and the location is very close to the beach, which is very convenient.
We did not get the exact same room we expected (the one it showed in our booking) although it was very similar. The bathroom sink also appeared to leak water every time we used it.
Super nice host and staff. Very convenient to the port area and all shops and restaurants. Good a/c. Clean.
Nothing spectacular regarding sea views. Solid accommodation with a super host.
Close to beach. Friendly and helpful staff . Nice recommendations for bakery and restaurants. Easy access to ferries.
The property is in good location Walking distance to everywhere Good beaches
We had the most fantastic time. The owners and all the poeple working at the Ulrika hotel were super friendly and welcomed us very warmly. What ever we needed, they could help. The hotel is very central and clean. The rooms simple and comfortable. We had a room with a nice view on the sea and could enjoy from there the beautiful sunsets. Our sons had a room on the garden side and enjoid the view on a beautiful tree. We strongly recommend this fantastic location.Dear Kalamakis family, thank you for everything!
Welcoming staff. Very clean.
The road was a bit noisy.
Great view of the sea.Cosy balcony.Large comfortable double bed.Beach a stone throw away for an early morning swim.Perfect location for town and ferry..Very friendly owners,Eric was very helpful. Will stay again if we come back to Aegina.
Excellent communication. Room comfortable with all expected amenities, including wifi. Very good location, close to the waterfront of Aegina. We went off-season, so utilised the airconditioning for heat, which worked perfectly.
Loud speaking from workers / gardeners at different times.
For starters when we checked in we actually got upgraded to an balcony view! The owners were all so friendly and welcoming. Walking distance to the main town. LOVED every minute staying here. Always want to support a family business!
Just the car parked area but was managed to still see the ocean view.
Really cool and helpful hosts. Had a room with a beautiful sea view and great bed. The area was quiet in the night time during my stay. Everything in walking distance and the reception has very good recommendations. Affordable compared with other accommodations.
Outstanding stay at the Ulrika hotel. The hotel itself is very nice, my Aunt and I had rooms on the third floor. The rooms are spacious with small balconies and a lovely view of the sea. The hotel is located off of the main street, so it’s a bit quieter (a good thing) but is also conveniently located next to a path that allows you to walk into town in a few minutes – a few stairs are required for the path. But what really made the stay great was the Kalamakis family who runs it – we had extremely positive experiences with all members of the family. The Dad (Salvatore) is warm and friendly, he helped us acquire a car when most of local rental places were closed. He also reviewed a map of the island and gave us tips on where to go. When we first arrived I was dragging our suitcases up the street and his son Erik literally came running out onto the street to take them from us, and then deliver them to our rooms (his ability to manage luggage on a scooter is impressive). Erik’s brother Yannis was equally kind, we had a fun conversation about his gardening, and he jumped into to help get the car properly returned.I’ve traveled around the world and this is one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with the owners of a hotel. They clearly take a lot of pride in their place, and their card says, “Greek hospitality at its best.” In this case, that’s truth in advertising, the Kalamakis family was so warm, friendly and helpful, they made the stay so much fun. I hope to return someday, mainly just to say hello.
Pretty much nothing - it was all good!
Good Value for money. The staff is incredible and flexible. Helped us to rent a car to visit the island. Thanks for all!
