Pros +
- A room with a view and so quiet we could have slept all day. Have been traveling in France for over 2 weeks now and hands down the best breakfast. Friendly staff and perfect location in an ancient town.
- The staff was amazing and helped us through a few issues with out trip organizer, the location in the ancient city was very special and the chef's food was great.
- Great location. Staff was very nice and very friendly. Breakfast was superb with a lovely view.
Cons -
- We were in the annex property. Wi-Fi was very spotty in our room.
- I was fine , as travelling by bicycle, but be mindful the building is up a steep hill within the village and parking is limited and very tight.
- We were in a separate building from the main hotel. Outside dining was a bit cold on the night we were there (October). It is a bit of a climb up from the main town and Roman bridge …as you would expect from a medieval city. We were fine but just mentioning it for anyone who is very elderly or infirm.

Great building with lots of original features. Outside spaces and the pool were fantastic.

Good view from our room although we had to pay more for it. Lovely dinner in the restaurant. Very good breakfast

Cosy clean room, friendly helpful staff, decent breakfast, amazing view from the terrace. Highly recommended.
Historic and picturesque! Location was outstanding. We enjoyed two early evening times reading and taking in the lovely garden!
The outdated bathroom - the “shower” was awkward, the bed was not so comfortable.
The hotel exceeded our expectations. The venue is beautiful. We ate a delicious dinner on a terrace above the old town watching the sun go down over the whole town. Breakfast was lovely, and also served in those beautiful surroundings. The pool is beautiful, we had it to ourselves. There was nothing not to like at this hotel and I recommend it highly.
lovely hotel, beautiful terrace and public roomsreally enjoyable stay. Our room was both stylish and comfortable and they provided an excellent breakfast
parking was little tricky. The approach was up winding streets that were both narrowband steep and the parking spaces both narrow and limited
A very nice welcome from the host and we were guided to a room in the next building. Behind the building there was the pool area. We did not have the time to enjoy the swimming pool, but it had a wonderful view over Vaison and it was cosy to spend some time there. The room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was excellent and it was located in the garden with views over the town. the location is wonderful in the middle of the old town with some option for diner on walking distance.I read some comments on the difficult parking situation, so we didn't do it, but I saw a small parking lot right in front of the hotel. With some guidance and a little map from the hotel it was easy to reach from the other side of the old town although I would not advice so if you're not comfortable of navigating in narrow and inclining streets.
The room did have some airco, but not sufficient to get the room cooled down (it was a mobile device with limited capacity) and the shower head was not holding to the rod, so you had to hold it yourself. An easy fix I guess. The bathroom had a bit of a sewage smell, but not to overwhelming.
Location quirkiness
Parking was an issue as the car had to be faced one way after parking in a very tight street in a classic car to get told to turn it around seemed absolutely stupid it’s the same length what ever way it faces but this was a massive issue
Excellent location and views. Friendly stuff. Comfortable bed
Driving straight to the property was somewhat difficult - very narrow streets.
Clean rooms and very friendly staff. The pool was a real treat after a hot day exploring the historic city.
Spectacular setting. Historic hotel. Clean pool. Friendly staff. Good meals. Parking.
we liked the fact that it was very old and kept its style. the garden terrace and views were spectacular.
Location, overall atmosphere
Uncomfortable chairs in the dining area, somewhat cold receptionist at the start, though he was a lot friendlier after a while
Thé location is beautiful, the swimming pool gorgeous with a beautiful view. The gardens and outside spaces to sit are lovely. The reception, stone floors and front sitting room (open to guests) are beautifully authentic for the old French Hotel experience.
The room we stayed in was very dated, as in decor, but large. The ensuite was just functional, the bath plug didn’t hold water and really was narrow and short. The toilet seat was loose and there is mould in the silicone around the bath. The breakfast was disappointing, although a good range. We would have liked eggs but didn’t see the sign till after. and even though it had rained during the night, someone could easily have dried the chairs and we could have sat outside for our breakfast, which was to be one of the highlights ,for us ,during our stay. Very expensive for what it is,but sure the price reflects the location and the pool. Do Not attempt to drive up to the hotel, unless you are fully aware of how narrow and steep with right angle turns the access is. There are obstacles and people in the road and then 2 deep parking carport opposite the hotel. We were asked to leave our key with reception, so our vehicle could be moved if necessary, which was a worry, as it was a hire car and I nearly burnt the clutch out on the hill! If we had known, we could easily have parked at the bottom car park and although a hill to climb with luggage, our car (hired) would not have been put at some risk negotiating the access. scary and G and T needed when you arrive.
Charming and unique location with friendly welcome.
Very difficult to locate and drive to.
Beautiful setting and spacious room. Wonderful breakfast.
The building was old with great character, but had a modern bathroom. The location was very close to everything we needed. They had available parking right at the hotel.
It was confusing to get to. And we had to drive through old, hard to navigate streets to get to parking. And there were lots of stairs and no elevator.
