The location in the old town is wonderful. It isn’t particularly convenient to anything but staying there felt so magical. The staff are amazing, so warm and helpful.

Some of the ceilings of my room were low, I conked my head at least once.

This is a little heaven in a beautiful village. Lovely & helpful staff, very rich breakfast with high quality products. I highly recommend it for families and bigger groups.

The breakfast can finish 30 minutes later, 10.30 instead of 10.00 for those who like slower mornings.

It looks like an eclectic mix of room types/styles, with ours being at the top of a spiral stair at the loft level. A quiet, spacious room with lower ceilings and exposed beams.

From parking, it can be a challenging walk to the hotel, so pack light.

Beautiful view. Tasteful decor. Comfortable bed.

Parking quite difficult. Restaurants and grocery stores were not close by.

Quirky little hotel/restaurant in the old city. We had a studio with space for three (one double, one single) up a winding staircase. Parking available within a short distance. Pleasant garden (separate from main building) with a small pool. Breakfast was good. Worth noting that restaurant does not do evening meals (but there are plenty of other places to eat out in Vaison).

    Great location, nice atmospheric building

In old house, room a bit bric a brac (but also very large with good beds)

The location of the hotel is very good. The room was clean and comfortable, although had a dozen stairs to reach. The view of the surrounding from the room was nice. The breakfast was pleasant and fair. The stuff was welcoming, especially the receptionist. In total, we enjoyed much in our stay at the hotel and the village.

No aircondition in the room, but the ventilator was sufficient for the night.

Charming old hotel in Old Town. Staff extremely friendly and accommodating. Parking was close by. Our suite was large and outdoor patio was lovely for sunset views. Was not shown the pool and the restaurant was not open for dinner. 10 minute downhill walk to town for restaurants and shops.

The restaurant food reviews were excellent but was not open for our stay.

Loved the medieval setting and location in the old town, still with an exterior view. Each room different with interesting art work.

Breakfast was a little bit somber. Would have liked to be in the courtyard, but maybe it's still too chilly.

We liked the architecture and style. It had character. We liked the pool area and the terrace at the front with the view. It was good that tapas was available during the day. The staff were helpful and friendly.

We found the breakfasts a bit disappointing and repetitive. We had to keep asking for things. It lacked variety and wasn't great quality. Also the coffee machine broke down. We found the restaurant menu a bit limited and pricey although the ambience was lovely. We had a problem with the wi-fi when there was a storm. The staff were apologetic and offered us a free meal in compensation.

I loved the artwork around the property- sculptures painting on the tool doors. The bar and restaurant service was good and a great place to watch the sunset.

    7ClairePosted on: 9-20-2023

The location was lovely and the ambience superb. The bar and the view from it, was a particular favorite. The meal we had in the hotel was very good. The staff were very helpful and friendly

We stayed in an apartment which was not particularly well equipped and lacked comfortable seating. The bathroom was a little tired. The pool was nice but the surroundings again were a little tired.

This quaint little hotel in the medieval village - is small and filled with character - I liked it .

    8AnnePosted on: 7-13-2023

The quirky building, the restaurant, the ambiance in the medieval part of town, the bar overlooking the hills

If your room overlooks the courtyard restarant, you may find it a little noisy at mealtimes. There are a lot of steps when getting round the building.

    8CharlottePosted on: 7-3-2023

The position is marvellous and the staff are friendly.

I think that the pool area need more sweeping and attention generally - costumes left lying about etc. But it was a nice pool.

Stayed there with Nicholas O'Connell's Writer's Workshop. What a great venue for that occasion! We enjoyed meeting by the pool or on the front patio, enjoying the view. We had several delicious meals at the hotel restaurant and enjoyed the breakfast each day.

absolutely stunning location - never stayed anywhere like this before. magical on arrival at night. special place.

breakfast was disappointing, I’d skip paying extra and grab something to go in the town.
