Nice location, rich breakfast, kind stuff.

Great location. Comfortable with classic style. Kind staff and very nice breakfast.

Some people have commented negatively about the animals on the property (cats/dogs outside). We have family members very allergic to cats, etc. but had no issues with anything in the hotel or with the birds in the cage (our son liked these). If you a hotel without seeing any animals, fair enough. Yes some of the property is showing its age but we enjoyed the still elegant marble lobby, etc. and the rooms are still comfortable and just fine. We had a great meal at a family run pizza place around the corner (Pizzaria Il Porto). Perfect location for catching/returning on the ferry.

Old, smelly carpets everywhere that the owners masked with penetrating perfumes everywhere. This place is creepy.

Travelling by ferry to kefalonia sometimes timing can prove difficult. Having stayed at Glarentza a couple of times in the past.We are now making it a regular stop in the journey. Clean. Friendly.Good food.Good value ?

Little dated and usually appears empty - that said both of our stays have been due to cancelled ferries. Couldn’t be more helpful

I had a scheduled ferry route after the stay in the hotel. I really appreciate the willingness of the reception! Even if it was for a night, the staff was terrific and very helpful! Really close to the port.

It was a family run, comfortable, friendly and helpful place. The air conditioning (very important for us) was very good. It was very close to the port and nice beach and would recommend it. Breakfast had a lot of choice.

Could be noisy when ferry traffic is passing.

Very well located near the harbour. The staff at the reception desk was very helpful to organise our transfer to Olympia.

Location for catching the ferry ⛴️ is unbeatable it opposite the entrance to the port but you don't get any traffic noise. The room are first class, but the disabled bathroom is the best I've ever had in any hotel across Europe. Breakfast was superb

The hotel is centrally located in the village and you can walk to the beach, restaurants and ferry. The staff was so kind

It was close to the port, and it had a private car park for the guests.

We were given a room with facilities for disabled people, and the shower was not to our liking. The shower did not drain sufficiently, and the water went everywhere.

Everything, proximity of the harbour and restaurants, nice room although very small, breakfast was special and really impressive, very nice staff

The hotel Glarenza is perfect! We stayed only one night, but we enjoyed it! Perfect accommodation in a very quiet room, nearby the port with many restaurants and nearby the ferry. Above all: the breakfast in Glarenza is the most exciting 'activity' you can imagine!

Hotel is conveniently located in a quiet area close to the Kyllini ferries. Breakfast is good, with a good mix of continental and Greek fare. A family-run business, they take pride in running their hotel.

Room is big enough, but if you ask for a triple room it's going to get cramped. Breakfast starts a bit late if you want to go for an early start.

Well located. Parking space.

They have birds in cages as decoration.

We chose this hotel as we needed to get on the ferry the next morning. Since we arrived late we didn't have the chance to explore the area. But it was most certainly a good place for our purpose. The breakfast is great.
