Pappas Hotel

The property’s location was superb. Ideal if you prefer outside a busy city like me but close to a major city such as Corinth and Athens. Very romantic hotel. When my son is engaged, I will suggest this place for a destination wedding. The ambiance and beauty is timeless.

There was no elevator where we stayed so a bit difficult add 75 years old to get our bags up.

The location is great, right in front of the beach. The staff, including the late night-early morning staff were very helpful, and we appreciated it. We’ll be back.

The room was pleasant (a deluxe upper room in one of the “bungalows”) and reasonably well appointed. The barman was lovely!

Absolutely no fire escape instructions in the room! A legal requirement. The food offer at breakfast was very poor quality, of limited choice, and what was there was meagre. No fresh orange juice or fresh coffee! Both came from a machine, with the orange made from diluted concentrate. And for the first time EVER after over 30 years of staying all over Greece (including many of the islands and most of the mainland) there was no water in the room, and no water glasses either - water had to be purchased from the bar. The waste bin in our room had not been cleaned properly and had a foul smell. To be clear, our stay was NOT in a cheap room (€145 per night)! As a hotel, those in charge seemed more concerned about their cost margins than providing value for money hospitality to their guests. We felt sorry for customer facing front line staff - no surprise their attitude was generally perfunctory.

The location was amazing. Breakfast was adequate. The sea view was breathtaking.

I didn't like that it had so many hills to ride up, but it was worth the while for the location itself.

The hotel staff is highly professional and you can notice here, like nowhere else, that order, work and discipline are highly valued. But here we should especially mention their kindness - which the guest feels at every step. Rooms with a sea view, the hotel's private beach with free umbrellas and sunbeds, crystal clear sea and spacious hotel parking provide an opportunity for an unforgettable vacation.All recommendations.

It is desirable that the hotel (like many others) has a mini-mini market with the basic offer and souvenirs.

Beautiful surroundings, lovely beach and pool and clean comfortable rooms with private balcony. Amazing snorkelling too.

Personally would prefer if some parts of beach had no music from speakers so can just relax.Also, managed to also end up staying on day of the Sunday beach party with loud music from 11-8....no escape anywhere unless door shut in room! If you like peace and quiet then check those dates in advance!

Very Old Rooms

The main part of hotel was old and dated however we were lucky enough to stay in the adjacent block which was newer and so much more inviting.

Too many tour groups were staying, and they seemed to take over the pool/ beach area and even the beach bar played their music rather than having local Greek music. Buffet breakfast was very average at best as there was no covering over the food and plenty of flies all over the food

The hotel was very nice, a bit dated however had everything we needed. The view was amazing and we felt very comfortable. The breakfast was good however it had much of the same foods every day. The coffee was great and staff were accommodating. The staff at the front desk were exceptional and provided us great advice.

It would have been nice to have some wait staff on the beach rather than having to go to the bar/restaurant for a drink. More variety at breakfast.

Could smell cigarette smoke in the hallway.I am nit a smoker . There were no restrictions on smoking and the cigarette smoke smell was not ideal

The buffet breakfast is various and very good, sweet and salted foods are available.The view and the sea are fantastic.

This property was incredible! All the rooms are beautifully decorated and newly remodeled. The views from the balcony were spectacular!  The beach adjacent to the property was a special gem. The sea water was crystal, clear, wonderful, lounging in the shade with umbrellas and mature trees. However, if you like full sun, there are plenty of options. We also thoroughly enjoyed the pool, which also had stunning sea views. Overall, the setting is absolutely magical and the staff was all very friendly.

Two things that need improvement are: First, the pillows were too puffy which took away from a good nights sleep, would be nice to have an alternate option. Second, the continental breakfast was substandard, which was surprising. However, the breakfast was not a big deal to us, but it may be to other people. Therefore, I deducted two stars from the review.

Staff, facilities, clean and magnificent view of the sea. Surly will go back to the hotel
