Le Renaissance

The hotel was lovely, very relaxing, very clean, good pool, lake and garden. The free animal park up the road was delightful.

It was quite a walk from the town centre and train station. We were back packing so didn't have a car. Also there is an air base in Mont de Marsan...which is either fascinating or noisy when the jets take off depending on you view

Lovely staff who could not do enough for us, great room. Nice pool and relaxed atmosphere.

This hotel is amazing!Beautiful rooms.Very clean and the bed was super comfy with gorgeous bedding.The staff were really nice and spoke English which was good.The continental breakfast was really nice.The restaurant was closed when we arrived in the evening but fortunately we had eaten along the way.Would definitely choose this hotel if we were travelling that way again.

Overall quality and location.

We missed the fact when booking that the restaurant was closed because of a wedding. Would have preferred to dine on site.

Really clean, modern with really friendly staff. Food was good and we will stay there again.

The setting was beautiful, as was the room plus the terrace to eat on. Decor was lovely too.

Disappointed that the menu was very expensive as there was nowhere else to eat locally. . Decided to have 3 courses and thought we’d ordered to different cuts of steak, nobody corrected us and fish turned up. You also had to order the homemade profiteroles at the beginning as half hour cooking time which we did. Service was so slow, 2 hrs later we got told they had served them to someone else and they didn’t have more. They rallied up another desert and had the cheek to charge us in full for it. No wine list you had to know what you wanted so no price. All in all meal and 2 sparse breakfasts ( nothing hot bar boiled eggs ) so fruit and danish. cost €125

There was a swimming pool and free parking and very friendly hostess

Rooms are old, in weekend restaurant closed. Very far from center. Not entirely clean.

The room decor was done tastefully. The bed was very comfortable!

We had 2 bikes and it was difficult to store them as their facilities for bikes wasn't secure enough. In the end we worked out a solution.

bed and shower was good. clean pleasant room.no open restaurant, only drinks in the evening.receptionist helped us to find and book an alternative restaurant for dinner.beautiful garden and small lake in the back of the hotel, with nice seating.

Not alot. The staff were very busy. A charming lady showed us to our room but after that the staff were not at all interested. The dinner was good but there was no ambiance from the waiting staff.

The room was in the ground floor and opposite a garage which had a delivery at 7.00am. For breakfast the staff did not make an appearance and breakfast was poor.The mirrors onbthe room were badly situated and the bathroom mirror was not anti mist and made it difficult to put any makeup on. The reception staff were non attentive on paying the bill. Very sad as it was really second cllass

Lovely hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The grounds were beautiful around a lake. The evening meal and breakfast were really tasty.

Total ambience, staff very friendly, our waitress Fleury was lovely and her English was as good as our French, bless her, in the end we both understood each other.

The bedroom is new and fantastic, clean and comfortable

just a little detail, the air conditioning module was not clean.

Easy stop over enroute up to Calais with our dog. Clean and very comfortable and ate in the restaurant out on the terrace. Food okay but not amazing.

Beautiful room , gorgeous art work in hotel , lovely pool and dinner was lovely .

Breakfast was disappointing , no staff around , bread for a French hotel very poor , also no soap provided for wash basin so had to climb into bath to get some .

A great property with welcoming and friendly staff. Also a lovely location with great walks and a nice view of the lake

Staff were excellent. Arranged taxis to and from local restaurant. Onne of our party did not stay due to a breakdown and hotel were very fair regarding charges even though it was outside of cancellation dates
