    Pros +

    • Lovely Hotel, everything feels like its a very high quality. Every detail is thought through, there is art all around.Even the breakfast was nice, the bread was freshly cooked and it also tasted that way.Rooms are spacious and clean, good mountain view from our floor to ceiling window.Beds were very comfy.
    • Everything! What a lovely hotel
    • Great view from the roomInterior design is very stylish

    Cons -

    • Check in closes early, but we were able to still get our key later on.I didn't like the cow's head displayed in the restaurant, that's my personal opinion though. Also, at times there was no breadrolls or bread being refilled at breakfast so we had to wait a while.
    • Reception timing is limited, we can't check in anytime which is a bit worrying when unfamiliar and driving from some distance away Shower room is AMAZING but small
    • The shower is not suitable for the family stay

Everything about the place is great. Location is amazing and everything is brand new.

We lost a key card and were charged 5 euros for it. It’s just a key. That was the only stain on our stay.

This is an absolutely beautiful property. The restaurant was divine, the staff was extremely friendly and professional, the artwork/decor/garden was unique and beautifully done.

Although I loved the look of the room, the shower in the middle of the room was surprising. Not as practical as I would have thought for a German hotel, but we made it work.

    The building

No staff, empty, breakfastLator is NOT a hotel it is rooms to rent. Great concept, appaulingly executed.

    7StevenPosted on: 8-1-2023

The location was superb. The room was very comfortable with great views and very quiet.

The lack of something like Netflix for the non German speaking guest is disappointing. At the end of a long day out, it's nice to relax with a good film but with only German tv available and no subtitles, that is not possible. The hotel is beautiful and the views are fab, but somehow it lacked atmosphere. We were there Monday to Friday and the restaurant and bar are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. There are no staff on reception after 6pm. For a boutique hotel and the price I expected it to feel a bit more special.

The interior design of the room was exceptional! Loved the view and the place itself! The breakfast was very good but nothing special.

Excellent breakfast. Dining facility is very clean and food quality is very good. Dining staff is friendly. Special mention of Francesco who served us during dinner.

Hotel receptionist needs serious training in hospitality.

Uniqueness, beautiful scenery, on site restaurant Hieronymus just excellent!! This place is really special.

Not mad keen on the shower in the middle of the room - a bit awkward when staying for a family. But compared to the overall impact of the property this is a tiny thing!!!

The restaurant was great and had great staff. The reception staff was very nice. The room was spacious with great views.

There was no elevator which made bringing the luggage to the room a bit of a challenge. There was limited hot water so we had to take a few cold showers.

Breakfast was good, Service and personnel good. Wifi was free. Nice Art hotel.

Everything was exceptional, rooms were unique, comfortable, location was perfect

    10ToddPosted on: 9-24-2022

Unique style room with large windows looking out on countryside, large natural wood carved desks and tables, and glass cylinder shower in center of bedroom. All features of the room were top class. Beds were comfortable and well positioned to take advantage of the view.

The room was a little small but this was not an issue because of the way it took advantage of the great amenities.

Beautiful. Absolutely asethically stunning. Had me captivated. Every detail so beautifully crafted.

Loved everything, but would have appreciated a small couple of adds..a mini bar and air conditioning. The heat in the rooms is delicious, but not something I am used to sleeping with. An open door helped considerably though invited the snuggle of a random purring furry guest who found the bed as comfortable as I. My bad...i let him stay...he was awesome.

Very beautiful artsy property curated in all details, in a wonderful natural setting. Art and nature blend in and create a sophisticated relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant was also exceptional and the staff kind to us and our 3 kids

Breakfast was very good and the service excellent. We were checked in by Carmen, she was amazing, professional, friendly and courteous. Always helpful with every request. The restaurant was very accommodating and the food and it's presentation was exceptional. Excellent location to Oberamergau for the Passion Play. The hotel provided transportation to and from the hotel and play. The distance by car was 10 minutes. They also provided a meal during the intermission break of the play.

    Can't think of anything...

    10SchwarzPosted on: 7-10-2022

the artwork, breakfast and the views

the only thing I didnt like was that there were a few flies in the dining room when we ate breakfast. A strategically placed sticky insect mat or something like that would help with this problem.

    10StevenPosted on: 6-5-2022

the view of the mountains from the rooms was spectacular. We could lie in bed and enjoy the views.

light control from the bed was intermittently functioning. Also one of the statues near the reception was a bit disconcerting.
