Brinkhotel

The hotel was in a central location in Zuidlaren and the staff was friendly.The layout of the family room was good as there were actually two rooms that are connected with a staircase.

The room was not extremely clean and smelled of smoke when we came in. This probably came from the balcony which was connected to the rooms next door.There was a large moth in the upper room that turned out to be dead and probably had been on that wall for some time already.The whole hotel is quite dated, the carpets are not very clean and the walls are thin.

The breakfast staff charged the full breakfast price to two of our colleagues for having only a coffee.

The hotel is a bit old but it is very clean. It is the first hotel since a long time that don't have a speckle of dust under the bed.

Need more lighting. Bathroom a bit cold.

Felt very welcome the morning reception was so helpful didn't meet evening staff but I feel sure they would have made us welcome too defiantly will be staying with you again top mark's ?

The staff in reception and the restaurant were very friendly. The restaurant is very cosy (we only had drinks, but the food looked good). It was nice to have free parking at the back of the hotel. The two-level room was very convenient for a family of four. Comfortable beds. The hotel was very close to other restaurants in the town.

The room is clean, but looks a bit worn. There were some questionable electric sockets in the room upstairs.

Room 222 had an annoying noise that was on from 12.00 till 22.00. Must be a fan or generator on the roof that sounds like a helicopter. We would definitely come back to this hotel but will ask for a room in other part of the hotel.

A very pleasant stay. The staff were truly friendly, both at the reception and in the restaurant. The rooms were clean, the breakfasts were standard, and the dinners were very good with generous portions. The location is good, you can take a walk into the city on the weekend. Accessibility by car is also fine, with parking available either in front of the hotel or in a private lot behind the hotel (the access is a bit narrow, but you can find a spot even during the Friday markets).

When it was wet, some local youth tried "drifting" with their cars in the parking lot across from the hotel in the evening. It can be a bit noisy, but it's more about worrying for the parked cars. However, they usually stick to the far end of the parking lot, so nothing has happened. Nothing negative on the hotel's side.

Bathrooms a bit grotty but clean

Basic but comfortable rooms. Lovely restaurant and good breakfast. Location is perfect to explore the outdoors as well as lovely towns, Hunebedden and even the city of Groningen. Rooms are quite basic but with coffee and tea in room! Free parking too. Staff was super nice!

It is not very soundproof and sounds of people talking in the hallway sounded very loud, as do doors etc of other rooms. Rooms and bathrooms, also the toiletries in the bathroom, are basic but all you need is there. No fridge though.

We had a lovely and very large room overlooking the front of the hotel. Despite the road outside we heard very little noise at night.We were on a bike tour and the bike storage in a locked room was great. The breakfast was good and extensive. Overall we were very satisfied.

The room was a bit stuffy. We needed to open the windows and we got a couple of mosquitos as a result.

Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were clean. Possibility of preparing tea or coffee in each room

The bathroom is upstairs on top of a steep ladder. We had rooms in the front on a busy road. Balcony has to be kept closed to have some quiet, but the room becomes pretty warm, especially the one near the bathroom, under the roof

Looks like the rooms have been modernized over time, but the bathroom was quite basic and old

Right in the center of town so great for restaurants etc. we were there for the Dutch TT and the highlight for me was that Wil Hartog was in the same hotel and we had a good chat ?

Rooms were lovely. Bike storage shed was a bonus.

The view out of the back of the hotel over a large expanse of tarmac that was floodlit all night from the adjacent shop was a shame.

Very clean hotel, and very convenient, and excellent breakfast
