That it was close to the Plaza Mayor and that everything was with in 10 minute or less walking.

It was hard to find the place at first.

When we needed help, they were there to help us out more than once. If you want a great place to stay near the Plaza mayor, you'll be pleased here.

No breakfast expected.

I should have been sent an email with codes for opening doors, etc., bu this didn't come.

Near to main plaza with cafes shops etc

Parking is not allowed so had to carry bags a fair distance to hotel

Parking outside the town but unsure if it was my fault of not reading...

Location great .had to park my motorcycle in a secure car park a short walk.they give you a cobe to enter the property.the next day it didn't work so I couldn't get back in after getting my motorcycle.a lady let me in .the room is small but in a great location.

There was room to store two bicycles.

No front desk. The bathroom was awkward with the toilet too close to the sink, so one had to squeeze between them to use the toilet. A sign there said to throw used TP into the trash can - yuck.

Great location near Plaza Mayor

The WC wasn't clean. Usually unstaffed with mechanised checkin/out so it missed that welcome. And arranging to leave luggage was difficult though when I did meet a member of staff they were very helpful.

If you need a modern inexpensive hotel right in the centre of Plasencia, Hotel Rincón Extremeño is the one for you. It is located in a narrow street, Calle Vidrieras, via a small archway next to Cafeteria/Bar Español in Plaza España. I parked in the car park under Plaza San Fransisco which is really easy to find and, if I had not set off in the wrong direction, it is an easy three minute walk up Calle Talavera to the Plaza and the hotel. Instructions and codes to get into the hotel and your room are communicated by WhatsApp and easy to follow so make sure you have access to an internet connection during the two days before your arrival.Calle Vidrieras is not a particularly inviting lane so I was not feeling too happy as I walked down to the hotel entrance but it was clear from the outside and indoor foyers that things were going to be OK. Access to my room was via stairs or elevator and my room was light, modern and attractive and included a decent-sized fridge. In fact the whole hotel had been designed and refurbished to a high standard.I wasn't really looking for it, but the restaurant mentioned in the Booking.com description wasn’t open any time I was back & forth to the hotel. A search of Google Maps reveals Rst El Riconcito next door with an access via the hotel reception but there were no signs of life anywhere along Calle Las Vidrieras during my day and night in the city.Great location, great little hotel. Highly recommended.

Excellent location just off the main square. Helpful staff and comfortable room.

A little noisy at night due to proximity of bars etc. Difficult to find a decent breakfast in the town.

Clean and relatively comfortable.
