decent roadside hotel outside of the village of Placensia...decent value.

Comfy bed, big bedroom, staff was really nice and accommodated my bed type request.

Location

Hard, uncomfortable mattress,paper thin walls, loud restaurant right under my room ( early and late hours). After the first restless night, I requested to change my room away from restaurant entrance.

Very nice hotel with excellent staff. A little far from the town centre. Enjoyed the dinner and breakfast. Very clean.

The staff were all lovely. The food was excellent in the cafe and the restaurant. The breakfast was great. The rooms were fine. The balcony was super. The double glazing was great and ensured there was no traffic noise to be heard when the balcony door was shut.

We hotel was very noisy, not the people, just the doors closing, the showers, the tv, people talking and moving about. It felt like there was no insulation in the walls at all. There was no air conditioning and the room became very hot. We had to open the door to the balcony to cool off in the night.

The hotel is an ideal overnight stop for us travelling from Santander to Cadiz. It is convenient for the motorway, has easy parking, offers decent food in the bar and restaurant, has comfortable, modern rooms, has friendly and helpful staff and is excellent value.

The breakfast buffet is a little disappointing and could offer more choice. The location is great for transit but not as good for visiting Plasencia itself.

I went to the Azar on my way to San Sebastián. The hotel is located on the outskirts of the town, very close to the highway, and that’s why I chose it. It was a great choice: Clean, comfortable, great food, fantastic staff. I highly recommend it.

Good value comfortable hotel on the outskirts of town - so, easy to get to but a bit of a trek to see the sights. Plenty of no hassle parking

Comfortable, clean and modern rooms, very good bar food and restaurant, friendly and helpful staff, five minutes from the A66 and extensive parking.

Breakfast is OK but quite limited. In a commercial area on the outskirts of Plasencia and not ideally located for visiting the historic centre.

No hot water for shower

We’ve always used this hotel for a stop off en route to the Algarve in Portugal, staff have always been friendly, room is clean and comfortable, unfortunately this time the restaurant was closed and the bar meal was NOT very good, left most of it. Breakfast was good. We are booked again in March and can only hope for a better experience.

Bar food was definitely not 3star hotel food ?

I liked the room, it was comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The breakfast was good, I recived the meal I asked for and it was delicious.

I would like the rooms to have more privacy. I could hear the people in the room next to mine talking during night.

The property was well maintained m, comfortable and well located for us

This is our third year running now and we loved the upgrade our room had. The bathroom was fabulous! The soft fur ishings were also lovely .

not our first time here ;-) no nonsense, good quality hotel. bed, bathroom, balcony, ... all good ! breakfast, bar and the restaurant are a plus !

Breakfast is OK but it would be good to see scrambled or fried eggs available. Spanish omelette with potatoes is a no go for meStaff all very friendly. Dinner very good

I have struggled to find this site twice now. Perhaps some written instructions. My sat nav was not much help. My problem.

Room size was excellent, the rainfall shower was very good, all was clean

The breakfast wasn't great and the staff seemed a bit confused about the opening times for breakfast and in the evening, otherwise all was fine.
