location was great

not a 3 star hotel - not even 1 star: extremely small room with no sound isolation - impossible to sleep -noise from other rooms on floor - very thin walls. No mini bar; plywood flooring in bathroom ... no desk, no chair ... had to use code to enter...

Best hôtel for the price!! The pictures does not do justice! Its beautiful and super clean and its only 1 street away from the beach, we could se it from the hotel window. Also make sure to take the breakfast there its amazingly good!

Family atmosphere in this nice Hotel with great location, very close to trouville beach. Super quiet street and area.My room, n*6 had a partial view on the sea!

Hardwood floor means that we can hear when people walk without paying attention. I don’t mind the steps but be aware that there is not elevators and the steps are a bit narrow. A bit of dust.

The service was excellent. Their communication before we arrived was wonderful. The room was super clean and relaxing. The view of the beach was beautiful and only a minute walk from the beach. Breakfast had lots of regional jams and spreads. DeliciousThey even let us store our bags after check out for one last beach trip

The hotel's location is great, everything is reachable on foot, restaurants, the beach... the staff also was very nice and polite

The room was on the 4th room without an elevator, also it was a bit mall and you can hear other people from other rooms easily

The location is absolutely awesome! Right next to the beach, it is literally round the corner. Trouville's promenade also starts here, you can enjoy pleasant walks there. The hotel is close to different restaurants and cafes. What I also liked is that it's not far from a small boat station, where you can take a boat to go to Deauville directly and save some time (0,9 EUR per trip).Our room was on the 1st floor, so I can't say much about the stairs. The stairs were really narrow, and the room was small, but it is typical for the old building like this. Maybe the room can be too small for two people for a long stay, but for a short trip of if you plan only sleeping there, it's good. The room was cozy, decorated in a kind of Scandinavian style, that looked nice and refreshing. The bathroom was surprisingly big enough and modern, very clean, I liked it very much. And I liked the bed, it was wonderful, I slept like a baby. There are very kind and hospitable people working there too.I didn't have too high expectations, and the hotel exceeded them. P.S. There were some comments before about an unpleasant smell, but I haven't experienced anything like that. It there was a problem, it was solved before I came.

To me everything was just awesome! It's not something bad about the hotel itself, but for those who have trouble falling asleep and are light sleepers it can be a bit too noisy because of thin walls: you can hear your neighbors. Also, windows do not protect you from the sounds of seagulls flying around and screaming like hell. But again, this is a specific of and old building, just keep it in mind while selecting a place to stay if sound protection is crucial for you.

Location is very good This is a tall period building but modern shower facilities

The W C did not always flush ( we used the waste bin full of water ) I guess this will be attended to at breakfast which is an additional 10 euro the butter was straight from the fridge very hard and impossible to spread

Such an artistic place!Very nice lady and great service. Great breakfast too. 1 min to the beach. Anyway everything is perfect. A small lovely place to stay!

The owner, Stéphane, was very nice and accommodated us with our 2 dogs, although we did not announce it before and it was not charged extra! Stéphane also contacted us again to see if we had forgotten anything in the room. The room is very small, but it was sufficient for one night. We didn't have to pay for the public parking lot in front of the door, but I don't know if that's always the case. The location was perfect, the beach was right next to it and the small restaurants were also within walking distance. We also walked to Deauville.Please note: The stairs to our room werr very steep.

The breakfast is rather small and costs 10 euros per Person.The rooms are poorly soundproved.

At first they assigned us the 4 floor by stairs and it was not confortable at all! The room is super tiny and you need to climb the 4 floors in a spiral stairs.The reception wasn't good either..smells badly.

He saw my little girls struggle with their suitcase (that carryons) and just stared at them. I found this rude

The hotel is charming and decorated with antiques. They also sell beautiful pieces which I would have been interested in but I couldn't have carried them as we were going to continue travelling.

The stairs were tricky with big suitcases, but the owners will help carry them. Also you can hear people in other rooms but it wasn't a big deal.

Lovely seaside hotel, couldnt get closer to the beach. Walking distance to everything you would want to have access to in Trouville (be sure to checkout the seafood market on the main street, seafood platters to die for).Lovely reclaimed wooden floors an doors, very quirky feel to the place.

No fault of hotel but if you drive to Trouville be prepared to pay over the odds for the parking. Premium prices on street and in car parks.

Very authentic place, nice interiors, perfect location, cleanliness and calmness

The walls are very thin, make sure you are ready to be a respectful guest and do not make a noise or stay up late. I was sleeping very well and was lucky to have nice neighbours

The property is not beach facing it's in a street to the rear of other buildings.We had to climb a Helter skelter of 3stories of tight steep stairs to our room on the top floor.We paid extra for a large room that isn't large. Cold decor , not a cozy room, damp issues in shower and water does not leave ,some sort of blockage, . Would not return.

The bathroom gets wet because there is no shower cabin.It would be nice if there was an area to spend a little more time in the hotel.

Arrived late but arrangements for access were faultless. Stairs slightly awkward with luggage. Room comfortable and clean.

Lift - but realise this wasn't possible in older building.

Comfortable bed, very clean room, as was the bathroom. Breakfast was excellent and good value. Hosts were both very friendly and we felt welcome in this hotel. Liked the decor.

I would have to mention that our room was on the top, 4th, floor, with a narrow spiral staircase and no lift. It did however have a sea view. We would definitely stay again but would request a room on a lower floor.
