Best Western Plus Hostellerie Du Vallon

Location was peaceful

No inside restaurants no face cloths

An obliging staff who turned the music down when I wished to play the piano. They served a good beer.

No radio was available in my room.

Staff very helpful and Friendly Room was very niceBed was very comfortable

Noise in corridor echoes with other travellers talking maybe some sound proofing required

Goeie kamer

I left a blouse behind in the wardrobe on July 28. Since the receptionist hardly speaks English I have not been able to get it back so far. There is no e-mail adress on the site. And the e-mailadress she gave me on telephone is not correct. So maybe this way, I will be able to get it back.

Great location, friendly staff, clean and spacious room. Excellent water pressure in the bathroom. Likes that the use of the fitness room and spa were free

Furnishings were a little dated. Parking wasn’t free - €15

Friendly staff and trying to help and answer all the questions

The room was noisy, we could hear all from the hallway, especially in the morning and also from the street… the room was clean and nice bathroom but it is not at all 4*. Sound isolations in general in the hotel are not good, not ideal place for a couple vacation.

Room was a very good size along with the en-suite bathroom. It had a balcony overlooking the Town. It had electric car charging points which we were unable to get a charge from but there was a separate one from which we could. A good location for a relatively short walk to the Town.

Staff should be able to help with car charging by contacting the supplier to understand why it doesn't work. It was frustrating to be told "well it was working yesterday". We weren't impressed with the restaurant offerings close by.

Size of room BalconyOption to have a express breakfastGames room

Perhaps on site restaurant although not far to walk to massive choice along seafront

In principle, the property is fine.

Staff were pleasant and tried to be helpful, but hotel was under-staffed. It seemed that much of the time one person operated the whole hotel. The rooms were cold and the hotel refused to address the issue, although they offered extra blankets.

Well located with free parking. The room was spacious and the French doors to a balcony were an added bonus.

Friendly StaffVery good breakfast

Rooms a little dated.Massage service not booked directly with hotel. Did not bother in the end

Have stayed here on several occasions and our room was as always large and comfortable.

Location s good, parking is available something that is difficult in the area

Great location. Lovely staff. Nice pool and spa.

Very clean , comfortable bed, spacious room and bathroom

Too many dogs

The location was very good, close to the town centre with plenty of restaurants close by. The hotel was within walking distance from the railway station.

Everything was good

Location of the hotelCleanliness Parking

Bathroom was too small

Excellent room and breakfastFriendly staff

There was nothing we did not like.Just a shame it does not have a restaurant

This hotel is conveniently located close to Trouville's main Street opposite the waterfront. Having a car park was very helpful.

The swimming pool didn't open until 9AM, so we couldn't have an early swim before breakfast.

A very pleasant room with balcony - unusual, as a solo traveller I am often give an inferior room. The customer facing staff were friendly, very helpful and professional. Breakfast had an excellent range of quality items. Good location being a very short walk from numerous restaurants.

Parking is difficult especially when the hotel is busy. The parking space for charging an electric vehicle is often taken by a petrol engine vehicle.

Fairly spacious room with easy access from the car park located immediately outside the building. Easy walk to find an evening meal in Trouville or Deauville. Friendly and helpful staff. The facade of the hotel was quite attractive.

A minor niggle, parts of the carpark and access on to road suffered from 'rapid' elevation changes. My low slung car scraped its nose on exiting the car park!
