- There were plenty of attentive and helpful staff. Breakfast superb with lots of choice. Facilities including Spa were first class.
Cons -
- Steps on the landing makes it difficult to drag suitcases up & down. Although I know staff are available to help.
- Our room was the nearest to the main road - overlooking the car park rather than the hotel gardens. Very noisy when the ambulances went past
- Not really anything to upset our visit.

The atmosphere created by the wonderful professional team, who remained friendly and helpful even during very busy time was a pleasure to experience.
Excellent staff. The restaurant waiters were so very welcoming and kind. The hotel had been recommended by my sister and we were so pleased that we took her advice. The island tour was a very welcome offer which we thoroughly enjoyed. Without the shuttle bus service, the hotel might have felt a little isolated from the town centre.
Not really anything to upset our visit.
First class service extensive and very flexible menu attentive staff and comfortable setting.
Beautiful hotel and property.
Other Guests were much older. Median age was probably in the 80s. I’m 60 and felt very young.
Very friendly and clean with good facilities.
Key to room was a bit fiddly...a modern keycard system would be better.... this is a very very minor point, everything else was great.
Very nice hotel. Rooms could do with an upgrade but clean and tidy. Staff friendly . Location good
Nice room with balcony. Spacious bathroom.Nice swimming pool with steam room.
A little far from town center. It’s walkable but tiring to go up hill.
The staff were super helpful and friendly. The public areas were lovely and the breakfast was fabulous. Very clean.
The rooms are really dated and worn. No aircon. Water leaked out of the bathroom into hall. Iron burn on carpet
Rooms were spacious and comfortable but there was nothing memorable about the style and décor. We had a room with shower over a bath but the shower was very powerful. Our friends had a newly upgraded room with large walk-in shower. Staff were friendly throughout. The swimming pool was nice. Breakfast had a lot of choice, the food was excellent.
We were tempted to treat ourselves to a seafood platter at the recommended Le Nautique Restaurant about 6 minutes drive away but as the hotel offered a good looking seafood platter and one of our party was on crutches we decided to eat in. This turned out to be a mistake, the crab and oysters were OK but the rest seemed to be just defrosted and the prawns were particularly chewy. We had to wait a while and were told it was being prepared, with hindsight we wondered if the prawns were thawed out in the microwave. We had booked the meal a couple of days beforehand and were disappointed with the quality, three of the party were from Norway and knew what good seafood should be like.
I came back to the island to visit my mum in hospital and was feeling stressed, but the staff eased this with their proffesiinal approach. They were friendly, accommodating and made me feel welcome. The food in the Oak bar was restaurant quality, but reasonably priced. Room service was very quick and my room was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities I needed and I enjoyed relaxing on the balcony over looking the beautiful hotel garden first thing in the morning and in the evening. The hotel even organised a taxi to meet me at the airport. I wouldn't hesitant to reccomend.
The hotel is sparkly clean with excellent facilities. What really made it outstanding though, was the staff. The entire team from managers to house keeping were kind, friendly & work so hard! Would happily go back in a heartbeat
Nothing. It was everything a well run hotel should be.
Excellent wifi. Great staff. Unsuited could do with another update. Spa excellent.
The breakfast was great, although sometimes late or order missed. Facilities were excellent and staff were friendly and helpful.
Clean and friendly staff. Good food.
Forgetting to get me to sign for drinks then asking me to sign next day.
