The Farmhouse Hotel and Restaurant

Food and service was excellent. Staff extremely helpful and attentive.

Lacked space for our luggage in the bedroom and we didn't have vast quantities of bags. And room needed a bit of maintenance - nothing major.

Beautiful hotel in lovely location. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful - the room was fabulous with lovely bathroom and huge comfy bed. Couldn't have asked for a better stay!

The staff were very helpful and Courteous.

The hotel in general needs a make over. New carpet, paint in places, a lounge would be nice. While these did not take away from the overall stay. These would add to the experience.

Friendly, helpful staff, great service, good food

A tiny thing, but tea and coffee and kettle in a strange place in the wardrobe and not easy to move or access kettle.

Very welcoming staff, great location and very clean. Really nice food, the caeser salad was amazing!

Location - bit far from ‘centrum’ and taxi’s are limited The Hotel is a bit dark; not so many windows and dark decorated as well. relaxed atmosphere

Swimming pool, high tea and amazing breakfast

Beautifully decorated, wonderful staff, facilities and food. The pool and surrounding gardens are beautiful. Didn’t want to leave!

Very clean, attentive staff and lovely location

Excellent accommodation, super comfortable and clean. Lovely power shower. My breakfast was excellent but there was some confusion with some orders for other members of our large table - all sorted out in the end. The food in general was very good - we were there for a wedding.

I left an item behind in the room and phoned up on the same day to report it. I was told they'd contact me if the item was found. I heard nothing so returned to the hotel to collect said item which was finally located in an office behind reception after I insisted that it was definitely in the hotel. A lost property area where housekeeping can leave found items and reception can immediately locate them without making phone calls would be beneficial to all parties.

Pancake was very good, service was good .

The hotel needs some tlc, painting and wood repairs on balcony. The interior needed a little modernisation to make it that bit nicer.

Lovely hotel and pool. Great food too. The staff where very helpful and friendly.

The decor in the room was a little tired but that didn't take away from the overall experience which was great.

Our first delight was the upgrade to a junior suite - thank you! Everything about our stay was amazing. The good was superb. Staff extremely friendly, helpful and courteous. The decor and ambience of the hotel and especially our room was stylish and comfortable. We will definitely be back again.

There was nothing we didn’t enjoy ir like

Breakfast was excellent. Kept us going all day.Evening meal was also excellent.We were left a card and roses for our wedding anniversary which was a lovely surprise.

Our room had a balcony as requested but this was really small and overlooked the roof . Had expected a view of the garden.

Staff were friendly and attentive at all times. Pleasant relaxing atmosphere around the hotel. Food was very good overall. Room was very comfortable and clean, with good shower, and air conditioning.

Breakfast buffet was limited, and fresh meat, cheese, and cut fruit etc was left out unrefrigerated for hours then discarded every day.
