It's tired and dated inside, but it was very good value.

it took a while to sort out the room facilitiesno lift
Spotlessly clean, really comfortable lovely staff
Location was great, the staff were helpfulRoom was spacious & clean, bathroom was modern.
Mattresses were awful, really poor quality so very uncomfortable. The heating in the pool was broken so the pool was freezingThe hotel is dated, smells of food/cooking, staff sat eating on the sofas in reception.
I booked a single room and I was pleasantly surprised by the size of it, especially the bathroom. I loved that there were other spaces available throughout the property, such as the reading room and the lounge area near the entrance. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I was able to store my luggage there.
The Hotel was very good clean, and staff very friendly, Breakfast and the dining room was very good. The location was just a walk away from the town centre and the ferry port .
Not a lot.
Good basic room and good breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff
Location okay as walkable to town , but also on bus route and only short taxi ride. Property clean and generally in good order and staff very freindly and helpful. But building frontage is not bright and welcoming and although there are many communal areas , they are not linked up or presented in way that is attractive. Property needs a nice terrace at rear with a bar/ cafe attached. For the current room rates, it is what you would expect.
See above.
The room itself was cool at night and the bed was comfortable.
Could have had plug sockets by the bedside tables.
As soon as I arrived the reception was very polite and well organised. The hotel had a family run feel about is with all staff helpful. I had a second floor room at the rear of the building, this was a generous size, clean and peaceful. The room was equipped with a kettle and tea, coffee and biscuits. The breakfast in the morning consists of continental or cooked breakfast, which was satisfactory.
It's very old schoolNothing shinyVery friendly staff Nice Bar and Food Very clean pleasant roomWent for Guernsey Liberation Day Found out from Taxi Driver back to the Airport that the Hotel was the HQ of The Gestapo in the War
It was an old fashioned hotel. Well maintained, very clean and the staff extremely friendly and welcoming. Location was perfect & within walking distance to the centre of town. Bus stops a few minutes walk from hotel. Breakfast choice was very good.
Can’t think of anything
Clean, nice room, nice staff
Great location and friendly staff. Room looked a bit ‘tired’ but was very clean and comfortable with a large modern bathroom. Had everything we needed. Hotel bar food was great - breakfast was good too, and on our last day when we had to leave before breakfast opened, we were able to get some sandwiches to take instead (great last minute bacon and sausage rolls). Plenty of parking.
Bit of a hill up from the main street if eating in St Peter Port - but not too bad
Staff were kind and helpful . Good food and parking
Hotel was good and quiet. Good well priced food in bar. Good location to walk down to town. Good parking. Nice grounds
The bar-cum-diningroom - everybody happy, guests and staff, good selection of drinks and no-nonsense food menu, just good honest pub grub.
