Best Western Moores Central Hotel

The staff. Every single person here was so welcoming, kind and accommodating.

Parking was a little far. I wish there were somewhere closer to park, but it wasn't a deal breaker by no means.

Excellent breakfast menu and options - I booked for some colleagues to join me for breakfast and the Conservatory is a wonderful venue. The hotel location is perfect; close to everything and near the pedestrian zone and the harbour front.

No complaints - this is the 3rd time I've stayed at Moores

Excellent location in St. Peter Port, convenient to the town and the ferries to other islands of Guernsey and to Brittany. Staff were pleasant, breakfast was decent, and the small bar was charming (I didn't try the on-site restaurants). A huge unexpected benefit was the complimentary island tour that the hotel offers on certain days.

An older, sprawling building; room was in good shape and functional but without much decor. These are not complaints, simply noting that this is not a particularly stylish place to stay.

Very helpful staff allowed me to leave bags early before checking, and collect them late after checkout !Room was big enough for a single and was very clean.

A delightful historic hotel! Beautifully decorated and furnished, welcoming quiet, efficient staff. Loved our top-floor room with view over Castle and harbour. Very much enjoyed the excellent service and food at Breakfast and Dinner. Highly recommended.

Staff attitude, not friendly. Reception very impersonal. Lack of bar staff. Prior visits have been very different hence our return.

The location is superb if you have a boat to catch - it's very close to the port. Room service was a good meal that was comfort food. The staff were all pleasant.

The room decor appeared a little worn but not really an issue.

Room 223 - constant machinery noise from outside window. View was brick wall and scrap metal(really, I have photo!)All the staff we came into contact with did not speak very good English.

Would have preferred an independent shower rather than a shower in the bath - mobility problems.

Great location and friendly staff with comfortable good value accommodation. There were a couple of small maintenance issues in the room, which I reported on departure and well received.

Very stylish and impeccably clean throughout. The position in the heart of St Peter Port cannot be bettered. The pub attached has a superb selection of beers.

There were a few minor things with the cooking of the breakfast but perhaps we didn't make ourselves clear.

Central location, a great starting point for what you want to do on the Island.The hotel give you a bottle of fresh milk for your room to make hot drinks, this is a good touch in my opinion.The hotel is spotlessly clean, and has a good selection of places to eat and drink.

To start with, limited view from window but this was not a problem as it was a bright sunny room and very quiet Cleaners started at 8:30 on Sunday! Hoovering next door when rooms had ‘do not disturb’ notices up

Overall the hotel location is excellent and very convenient for travellers and the service is good. The breakfast conservatory location is a good start to the day.

The single rooms are very small and stuffy, the bed linen is not pure cotton and it was not possible to open the window. The cooked breakfast was undercooked and not very good. Bacon always needs a little crisping, sausages should be browned and mushrooms not overcooked. Time and a little thought needs to be given to the smaller details

Great facilities loved the jacuzzi and sauna very pleasant and helpful staff.

Just quite noisy in the morning, a lot of banging in the corridors starting at 7am which did wake me up & outside noise, maybe a bit better soundproofing with the windows would help a lot.

Great location, I use most times im on the island. Great staff, greak breakfast and bar.

Bit dated in rooms, some care and DIY is much needed. Reception and bar dont match the rooms. As they have been recnetly refurbished.

Clean and warm room, excellent modern bathroom, great gym and sauna!
