The location had great views of the marina.

bathrooms extremely outdated. We had to go downhill and uphill to get to hotel and walk to shops and restaurants so make sure to wear comfy shoes .

I absolutely loved my room with its large deck overlooking the city and harbor! It was also very nice to enjoy the breeze up there on a hot day. The staff were all very kind and attentive. The breakfast was delicious. I would most definitely stay at La Fregate again !

I only had two small issues -- 1. The wifi was unreliable, but the concierge let me use her phone as a hotspot for my online meeting (very kind); and 2. The heat valve on the towel rack was broken, so there was no way to shut off the heat in the bathroom. It was very hot in there, but neither issue would prevent me from staying there again. It is a wonderful hotel with lots of charm!

Location was great, food was fabulous, staff were very attentive and couldn’t do enough. The room were exceptional.

The beds weren’t very comfortable but the staff did their best to accommodate us by providing extra duvets.

Great location with amazing views from my room right over the whole of Saint Peter Port. Truly wonderful view and very helpful staff and delicious breakfast.

I loved this little gem of a hotel nestled perfectly up the hill, with cracking views. The restaurant there always exceeds my expectations, both in terms of food and service.

The staff were super, my room (thank you for my upgrade) was beautiful and spacious with a large balcony and view of St Peter Port, and the food was exceptional

The staff are so welcoming and helping. Special shout out to the hotel receptionnist (I don’t know his name but is a filipino guy) with his great work and making us feel confortable !!

Excellent room, view, food!!

The restaurant staff could not be more attentive- the service they provided was exceptional. We enjoyed the views and the old fashioned charm.

The receptionist in the evening was not particularly friendly or helpful. She seemed to have a bit of an air about her- perhaps we weren’t to her liking/standard. We asked for a late checkout and she said wasn’t helpful at all. The room was spotlessly clean but a pretty standard room. It wasn’t £285 a night worth. No safe, no mini bar, standard double bed. The floorboards desperately need replacing - they were creaky all over!! When my husband got up in the night for the loo, the whole hotel knew about it!

The hotel is in a beautiful setting, with stunning views. The staff were exceptionally attentive and just very lovely people. Nothing was too much trouble.

The views from our room were impressive - over the harbour towards Herm & Sark. We were upgraded to a suite which meant we had plenty of room. The breakfast was quite good

We had one meal in the restaurant in the evening. Although the staff were friendly and helpful we found some of the food preparation inadequate and quite frankly amateurish - they basically didn’t know how to prepare some dishes on the menu.

The restaurant was very cosy, and the food was excellent, and the service was very attentive but discreet. The room had a nice terrace and the best view of the harbour.
