Excellent hotel! Location, staff, bar, breakfast, everything!

Expensive - food served at the bar was not ok!

The hotel was better in person vs online. It exceeded our expectations! The vintage building has been upgraded without losing it's charm. The wood floors are beautiful preserved and they creak in that way the says you're home. The weather was cold and raining when we arrived but the room was toasty and welcoming like a warm cozy winter's night. The cleaning staff was warm, friendly and happy; singing contentedly while working. I love when employees are happy and enjoy their jobs. It makes for a wonderful atmosphere. It felt good, if that makes sense. We had breakfast included with our reservation. There was a wide selection of breakfast items: a variety of breads, fruit and juices, hot food like eggs, bacon, sausage, fried mushrooms, yogurt, granola, more condiments than you need but are appreciated, and hot coffee and a hot coffee station for special selections like cappuccino. The staff here went above and beyond to make sure we had a hot breakfast when we arrived late on our first morning. Every morning after that was the same amazing service and happy disposition. We were impressed with everyone that we encountered during our visit, from reception to housekeeping. Great job Avenida

The location was excellent. It was in walking distance to everything. I got lost and went in circles but that was the fun of it. The bathroom was better than I expected.

I can't really say there was anything that stood out negative my whole stay.

At night you could hear lot of noises from the other rooms and the floor is a bit noisy aa well

Usually we dont bother to rate as all staff have been professional but the group here try to be particularly helpful. It was noteworthy and the breakfast provided had extra selections along the lines encountered at luxury Hotels we have been at!!

We had to cancel the last day at the last minute, but we're told that as it was through booking instead of them that it wasn't possible.

Staff, location, cleaning

All was great

The beds and pillows were very comfortable, the room was bright and had a large window that opened. There were excellent night lights I could use while my partner was sleeping. There was a sitting room with a tv and fireplace on the 1st floor that was a nice place to sit instead of our smallish room. There was also tea and coffee available anytime in reception. The breakfast was varied and delicious and the staff very helpful and accommodating.

As in so many hotels the room was warm and it was not possible to cool it sufficiently to sleep comfortably. We slept with the window slightly open which meant noise in the morning. Also the people above us were jumping / running late into the night but the staff did speak to them on our behalf.

Bright, beautiful hotel with modern utilities, comfortable bed and even sofa and armchair in the room. Very good breakfast. Fantastic stuff. Just near the old city. Small supermarket around the corner.

The staff were amazing!!!! Start to finish.. Giving directions, and advice, all were so kind and patient, helpful and so pleasant. The breakfast was superb! Not only were the employees amazing to the guests but they genuinely were so great and respectful to one another!! Very clean, comfy, and attractive ..great location highly recommend A++++++

There was a big gap under the door of the room. We had to leave our bags at the door in order to help avoid light and noise coming in from the corridor

I came from Ireland even I was not speaking Portuguese but staff was trying to help me, thank you for the staff

Hotel is bang in the center of Tomar. Nice room with high sealing. Good breakfast.

We got lucky with the parking, but I can see it being a small hassle due to the central location.

Location was good and the staff was really good

Great breakfast, and good access right in the center of town.

This room was a little small. And parking was a little hard to find because of road work and street closures. Not the hotel's fault.
