    Pros +

    • Staff very helpfull. In the room, we appreciated the kettle.
    • Staff were brilliant, they really made us feel welcome.
    • The two Spanish speaking workers (the front desk man and the cleaning lady) are just lovely and super friendly. Overall the hotel was outdated a bit but it had a nice vibe. Very clean. I liked that they stored your luggage and there was also a public WC. Very clean! Overall it was a nice stay despite my cons below.

    Cons -

    • We liked everything
    • This is supposed to be a non-smoking room but there was an ashtray in the room so I had my doubts. It didn't really smell though thank goodness. The bathroom and shower could use a lot of improvement. The shower took a long time, it felt like 5 minutes of wasting running water before it got hot. But the other problem is that the drain is slow so you have to periodically turn off the water so the shower pan doesn't overflow. And you are standing in cold water the whole time. The hairdryer is strange and outdated, it doesn't get very hot. So it will dry your hair but not nice enough to style and set it. The bathroom door doesn't open all the way because the toilet is in the way. If you are a bigger person, this will be a pain. Whoever designed the bathroom did it backwards. The air conditioning / heating unit didn't seem to be working. There was an electronic panel but the controls don't work. I even tried setting it to 30 celsius but nothing changed, it was still cold for me. I think it was centrally controlled. And when it did run, it made a lot of noise. I basically used all the blankets in the room to stay warm while sleeping. I was really hoping for some heat.
    • The hotel is a bit worn out and it is noticeable - mold in the shower, shower doors do not close completely, ventilation system is old and noisy. Spring mattresses, which are hard to find nowadays, though I have to say they were better than I had feared they would be. No mini fridge in the room, no facilities to get hot water besides at breakfast.Breakfast was ok, it was a buffet so we didn't stay hungry, but there were some disappointing moments: coffee was not good at all, we couldn't drink it, there were rotten fruits in a fruit basket and the choice of quality food was limited.

It has a touch of design. Good location, easy to walk to the historical center. Breakfast and on-site parking are included. Facing inner yard, not the street, so it was quiet. Clean bed linen and towels, including towel for feet. Hot water at all times.

Location good, easy walk to centre. Good and plentiful breakfast. Parking on site.

    All good

Breakfast was particularly good, so much choice. One of the best we have experienced. We also loved the bright ‘lounge’ area and the large patio. All tastefully decorated too. Bonus of on- site parking.Very good value for money.

    Nothing!

Well located, it's a decent 3 star hotel, suitable for a short stay. I found the beds to my liking (hard mattresses), it was rather quiet and the "family rooms" (connecting door inside) are a convenient solution. A gluten-free cake for breakfast was a nice thing to see (not asked for).

I dislike single use sachets for shampoo and shower gel. Wifi would get sketchy at times.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean hotel and everything worked well. Good breakfast. Easy walk to all of the Viseu central areas. Easy to find free street parking nearby.

Breakfast got a bit cold and needed a refresh if you didn’t come down early in the breakfast hours.

    7GregoryPosted on: 11-17-2024

Location was near the old town area which was great. The hotel was clean, staff very friendly, and had a great breakfast.

The mattress on our bed was pretty uncomfortable and thus getting a good night’s sleep was impossible

    8UtePosted on: 11-8-2024

Biker hotel, well frequented when I was there, good breakfast, located directly in the city, with its own parking in the basement. Access from the parking to the hotel-rooms by lift. Nice hotel, very friendly staff.

    8PeterPosted on: 10-22-2024

staff very helpful.. breakfast was good... free parking for the motorbike in the garage below... comfortable bed and spotless.. good location, only a few minutes walk and you're in the centre..I was surprised with the town,I didn't know anything about it beforehand but it's really beautiful...

the only thing is the WiFi was rubbish... and I couldn't even get a phone signal at times in the room. everything else excellent

This is a neat, well run hotel. Its location is within a few minutes walk of the very heart of Viseu. Our room had a very comfortable bed, and sliding doors out onto a balcony. The breakfast was excellent, both plentiful and with a variety of things to choose from. The staff could not have been more helpful. Marcia was lovely, and both she and her colleague whose name we didn’t get gave us many helpful tips. On their recommendation we slightly changed our onwards route, and drove the Rota do Romanico (N222), down the Douro Valley to Porto. It turned out to be one of the most extraordinary highlights of our trip. Thank you!

    8JoanaPosted on: 10-14-2024

The location is great - very central and close to Kennedy Park. We left very early and couldn't enjoy the breakfast, but they prepared us a box with some snacks which was appreciated. Shower was hot.

The furniture is a bit old and the paitings over the bed are quite creppy. We could still hear some noise from the street and from other guests.

    8AgnieszkaPosted on: 9-30-2024

The staff was very helpful, and the location was very good. Parking at the hotel or free on the street.

Very small selection of fresh vegetables for breakfast (one tomato for all guests).

    10CathyPosted on: 9-18-2024

Excellent location for our business appointment. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable and good breakfast.

There was nothing I didn't like.

    8PaulPosted on: 7-19-2024

Location was great, only 5 or 10 minute walk to centre. Small underground parking area with electric door. Motorcycle was safe here. The lift makes it easy to bring luggage from the carpark to your floor. Friendly reception staff. Great breakfast.

    8NeilPosted on: 7-17-2024

breakfast was great value. didn't care for the coffee, but eggs bacon ham cereal etc were extremely good value

room was small, but adequate. reasonable given price and other hotel features such a nice public space

Pretty good breakfast (apart from the coffee). The manager on duty at check in was great with good english & he recommended a superb restaurant for dinner. The hotel is a bit dated but but vey clean & suited our group perfectly. Secure parking.

    8KevinPosted on: 6-6-2024

Secure bike parking Proximity to centre.Staff.Especially in the evening when we sat with a drink.

Room was a bit small.Lighting was terrible.

    10Souza-carrollPosted on: 5-28-2024

The excellent location.the beautiful town centre with its lit up buildings and fountains for an evening stroll is a must. The hotel was very good value, clean and our duty manager that night was very helpful. His restaurant recommendation was perfect. Find it located in town Square above the lit up azulajos panels. Hotel parking wasn't a problem.

    Nothing.Everything was very good.
