Pros +
- Location was quite good, younger receptionist was friendly and helpful
- The location was great. Less then 15 min walk to bus station. Did 2 day trips from there.
- There were not too much options, for 2 days I ate boiled eggs. I wish there were other eggs options.
Cons -
- Immediately on arrival I parked my moto outside in the designated hotel unloading area, to unload my bags, I got a very rude receptionist getting into her own car,(which was parked half in the unloading bay)telling me several times this spot is for cars
- I had to wake up early (6AM) because of footsteps noise, even If I wanted to sleep till 10AM
- Strong sewer smell in the bathroom (strangely appeared at night and got worse in the morning so I didn’t change the room from the beginning). Poor breakfast. The street noise is clearly audible at night (no bars around - it’s ok, only rare people and traffic but “street view” and poor “sliding” windows made it).

Location itself is convenient to visit main places of interest by foot (but It’s arguable because of the noise from the street at night).

The price
The terrible garage that drip white crap on my car that took 3 polishing to remove, the wool scatchy, heavy blankets, the rock hard bed so much I just gave up and got up at 6am. The terrible nothing breakfast with coffee so little heat that you could drink like water. Location has nothing. If you do stay. Park on the street. If you need a hard mattress to sleep, this is the place.. needless to say, not staying here again. The breakfast was the final deal breaker. Oh yes, nothing in the room. No kettle, tea, coffee and not even water.
Excellent location, just five minutes from downtown Viseu. The rooms are spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was outstanding, and free on-site parking is a great bonus.
My first time in Viseu, and this was a good introduction. A c9mfortable hotel, warm and comfy lobby, friendly, professional staff, in a central part of the city.
The hotel was comfortable and in a brilliant location. In fact the bed was so comfy I overslept and almost missed my flight!
The wifi wasn't brilliant
Excellent hotel. Comfortable beds. Hots powerful showers. Lovely staff. Location, it is very central.
It's not the practice in Spain and Portugal, I have found, but a kettle and hospitality tray is the norm in most of europe and this would have tipped this hotel into 'excellent'.
The hotel was great value for money. It was centrally located in the town, and we were very impressed with the service provided by staff. It included breakfast in the tariff which was an unexpected bonus.
- Location, friendly staff, nice breakfast, comfortable beds, good price, cleanliness
- there was only one pillow per guest, there should be at least one extra - stayed at room 206 and had no wifi - good breakfast hours (7:30 - 10h) and check out 12h
Good location and nice breakfast
Old building, outdated decoration, a bit noisy, lack of good parking space (too few places and too small, it was very hard to park)
Breakfast has the basics as expected for a 3 star hotel
Old dated facilities. Well kept but needs an uplift
Location, welcome. Staff
Smell in the room,No vegetables in the breakfast
I liked the location, the room, the ventilation system in the room. Breakfast was good, the fresh fruits enjoyable. Coffee was very good.
In the breakfast, there was few choice of yoghurt.
Having stopped here before I had no qualms about booking a one night stop with my wife. On arrival, having driven from Marvao, we realised her bag (credit cards, passport etc) had been left at a service area on the A23. We booked in and explained the situation to the reception staff. They were most helpful in phoning the service area and getting them to look for the bag, then once found getting the details for us of where to go and who to ask for. This would have been extremely difficult for us to have achieved. The Staff were fantastic.
This hotel is suitable for a one-night stay and offers good value for money.
Perhaps a decade ago, the facilities were considered fresh and commendable; however, with the passage of time and an absence of updates or renovations, they now exude a certain vintage charm tinged with a sense of melancholy.
Good location for the centre with good secure parking.
Hotel felt more like a 'contractors' hotel rather than a holiday hotel. Breakfast was ok, but cafe/restaurant was only passable.
Poor
The breakfast was poor, not many choices of healthy food. The room was basic, completely absent of charm and coziness, around the bathtub could find mold, the toilet plumbing had bad smell, we slept with the varanda door open.
Staff were really helpful and the hotel was located close to the park and historic centre
Broken shutter, so couldn't access the balcony. Hot water took ages to come through!
