Nice location, professional, kind, and smiling hotel staff

A pleasant stay, breakfast was fine. The room was cleaned every day.

Perhaps there should be a bar snack menu available during the day. Most restaurants nearby only open later in the evening.

Loud. Sugared coffee. Bathroom could be more clean. Restaurant was closed.

Stayed for one night on a cycle tour Porto to Lisbon. Safe cycle storage in hotel garage. Bed and pillows comfy. Breakfast ok. Arrived early and caught a train into Aveiro for the evening.

Centrally located in town, good restaurants nearby (recommend by hotel), free parking at CAO! Good breakfast included!

Bathroom sink to far from body, no fan and worse light!

the breakfast was very good. and the staff were exellent as they arranged taxi's for me no problem for were ever i was going. and they all spoke English wish was great for me as i can't speak Portuagess. would stay again if i was come to that area of Portugal.

the beds were a bit hard for me. i would have like drink making faclities in the room, of drinks machine in the recepition area. .

Breakfast was mediocre. Dimly lit rooms and halls.

The reception staff are delightful.Helpful, charming and professional. Good and secure bike parking.Ovar is a quiet little town .it was a convenient stop on our tour. Sunday night, it appears to be asleep! The staff were really helpful helping us find vege food.

This isn't a typical hotel for us.It was fine, but very tired. Breakfast adequate.No tea, just herbals. Undrinkable coffee. Sad bread and pastries . Again, lovely staff.

The bed matresses were a too soft for our liking

The stuff was exceptionally nice. Good 11/10. The bedroom was very clean and the double bed was very big and comfortable. Also, the view on the city was very cute.

The breakfast could be better. It was okay.

Only one issue that we didn't like. Our room was on the 4th floor and the hotel only had one lift which was woefully inadequate when the hotel had a lot of guests

The walls were too thin, we could hear everything from our neighbors in the hotel and some staff were a bit rude

Good breakfast, good location, good service.

The room (and the hotel as well) appears to have been newly renovated. My room has a balcony overlooking the river. There is a medium-sized supermarket next to the hotel which is really convenient for some drinks or snacks. The staff was very friendly, helpful yet efficient.

Very good hotel, excellent facilities and well located. One can walk freely as it's in the center center and close to key places such as train station, etc.

Super comfortable bed and lovely view over the town and river from the balcony. Exceptional and varied breakfast. Very switched on and diligent staff on reception and in restaurant in particular the 'slightly more senior' breakfast waitress who was exemplary, just gliding through her duties in the restaurant unobtrusively whether it was ensuring ingredients were always topped up or reading guests' requirements and the particularly calm way she politely handled a difficult guest who was complaining persistently simply because there was no camomile tea on offer

In my opinion excessive noise by the cleaning staff announcing their presence on the final day on three occasions starting at 10:30am albeit always very politely and parking the trolley directly outside the room when the majority of the other rooms on the floor had already been cleaned and were obviously empty evidenced by their doors being left open to let the air through, that despite check out being by 12 noon. The attention to detail should extend to all staff not just the front of house welcoming and restaurant staff. However, this small detail doesn't detract from the hotel's clear strive for perfection, was very possibly a one off and the only reason I did not score give a 10 score
