Furadouro Boutique Hotel Beach & SPA

Great, modern, clean hotel right on the waterfront. The staff were great and friendly. The breakfast was superb!

The top of our staying was the view to the Ocean. All along the night we let the window open and was sleeping to the sound of the waves.I liked personally the simplicity of the reception desk, which does not mean ineffectiveness!The breakfast was perfect, the room is big and cosy.

As we were here in the off-season, to find restaurants was an adventure, but this is not the fault of the hotel.In fact, on Monday evening we found only a Pizzeria open.

Incredible stay at Furadouro - the staff was welcoming and kind, the facilities are beautiful. We were able to use the spa and have a massage. The spa staff, Raphael and Daniella, were so wonderful. We would love to visit this hotel again! Thank you!!!

On the waterfront, easy to park the car, great breakfast.

Aircon too loud to sleep, we got the worst room ever (patio view on the ground floor), so could not open wide the window for air, but the windows were not tilting. The staff was unfriendly.

I loved the view of the ocean. Something to look at all day and particularly beautiful at sunset.

Parking was a bit challenging.

Great location. Close to the beach and also close to Ovar industrial center. Room very comfortable, clean and quiet. Outstanding breakfast.

Breakfast started at 7:30am on weekdays, which was a little late for us as business travellers.

The rooms are very clean and the view of the sea is quite pleasant. The coffee machine with free capsules in the room was really nice and useful. The breakfast was good and with a nice variety. All the staff was nice and helpful.

Unfortunately the free wi-fi didn't always work, which can make it difficult if you need to work from the hotel.

The hotel is right by the ocean, the breakfast was incredible, the staff was helpful! I can recommend!

The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff were nice.

We decided to get off the beaten track with our 13 and 14 yo children because it had a pool. We were very disappointed to find that they weren’t old enough to use it (16 years and older). This was hidden deep in the bookings information and we were not told this even after booking with children. There was another family there that was surprised by this, also. The hotel was loud, too. One of the more expensive places we booked and not worth it. Also, if you are old enough to use the pool it is 12 euros/person each visit.

Balcony onto beach was nice to have. Well located to beach, restaurants, shops etcOn site massage, spa and sauna were a definite plus. Had a hot sauna and excellent massage. These facilities are immaculately clean and well maintained. Some daybeds a bit worn. Staff were very friendly, helpful and happy 100% - they were exemplary.Plenty of on street parking when we arrived.

Very small issues such as lack of a small fridge and no in room facility for making a cup of tea. However, staff were pleased to provide hot water for a cup of tea.

Comfy beds. Walking distance to many restaurants. Lovely view from room overlooking the sea.

Extra costs for everything including Pool. Breakfast staff not great. Looked disinterested and had to ask for food plates to be refilled.

It has been renovated recently and we had a seaview glass balcony that meant we could lie on our beds and see the view. Shower/bathroom was well laid out though again shower did not cater for those who do not wish to wash their hair. Had a small clothes line above bath which was useful as we'd been travelling for a few weeks and needed to wash smalls.

The hotel only serves breakfast which on a Sunday night there were limited places to access a decent meal unless booked in advance. No evening meals meant no people in the reception/lounge area. For 4* hotel we would question the rating.The breakfast was disappointing as hot food was lukewarm and water for tea in the restaurant and in the bedroom was tepid at best. No kettles provided but had to use coffee machine in bedroom the assumption being everyone drinks coffee.

Location, cleanliness, and the lobby area was very inviting.

The breakfast was sadly lacking, skimpy, and we felt that we were inconveniencing the staff/owner. In particular, the coffee was bad and, when asking for more eggs, it seemed apparent that the quantity - and quality - was not going to increase until we spoke up and asked for more.

Room was pretty comfortable and clean and the bed was very comfortable.The spa was fantastic. Great to unwind. Nice for business or leisure lodging.Breakfast had a wide selection.Overall not bad.
