- From the very first day we arrived, the staff was rude, unwelcoming, and completely unhelpful—especially a woman at the reception with an arrogant, “I’m the boss” attitude. We paid for an all-inclusive package, but couldn’t even have lunch on arrival. So basically, the first day/night of “all-inclusive” we paid for was just the night, nothing more. They give you zero information—you’re left running around like a ping-pong ball from reception to different places, completely lost. The room? Disgusting. The bed cover had blood stains on it. Absolutely unacceptable and sickening. The drinks? For the entire 5-day stay, the minibar was stocked ONCE and never refilled again. Not even an apology. The food? Pathetic. Very few options, the same boring meals every day for lunch and dinner, with barely any difference. And the worst part—most of it looked like leftovers from the previous meal. Disgusting and cheap! And don’t get fooled by “all-inclusive.” It’s a joke. You can only have about 20% of the drinks and cocktails included. Everything else? Extra charge. What a scam!

Room was clean Nice sea view from balcony Staff was ok but the most off them doesn’t speak English or Greek
Small dirty pool even if they cleaned it every morning And not like pictures Food average definitely not for a 5 star hotel ! No parking at the hotel but also difficult to find on the street.
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome — everyone was friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The location is absolutely perfect, right by the beach with stunning views of the sea. The rooms were spotless, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable, with all the amenities you could need. I especially appreciated how quiet and relaxing the atmosphere was — perfect for unwinding. The food was another highlight: the breakfast buffet had a great variety, everything fresh and delicious, and the dinners in the restaurant were excellent as well, with both local and international options. We also loved the pool area, which was clean and never overcrowded, and the beach just steps away with plenty of loungers and crystal-clear water.Overall, Apolamare offers a perfect combination of luxury, comfort, and warm hospitality. I highly recommend it and will definitely be coming back!
Everything was amazing
Location was good. Water was perfect to swim. Staff were so helpful and kind. I think they were the best thing in the hotel. Room was clean and beach bar had a lot of options.
Beach was full of stones and not comfortable for families with kids. We had a sofa in the room and it was broken in the middle, we asked for a room change but nth was available. We had to use it for 4 nights! Food was not quite fresh and tasteful. Better to eat outside.
The food is the same every day. Minimum seafood and not tasty at all. One of the beach bar managers (lady) was angry all the time and yelling at the staff constantly. Additionally, the rooms were not cleaned properly during our stay.
The sea was crystal clear, the food was very good.
Snack bar and drinks not the best. You check out at 11 and you can't use any benefits that day, so It's practically 5 nights and 5 days. So on the last day you pack your things and go!
This hotel exceeded all my expectations. The courtyard is cozy and stylish, surrounded by pools and gardens, creating the feeling of being in palace apartments. The hotel's cleanliness is impressive, and the beach is just wonderful. Especially noteworthy is the exquisite and delicious food that delights not only in taste but also in presentation. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious food and loved the convenient location. Would highly recommend it!
The hotel by itself is very beautiful: white building with columns at the entrance, rich reception hall with quiet music and friendly staff. When you go to the bar along the central corridor you feel like a princes in a fairy tale and in the end your breath is taken by the view when you come out to the swimming pool area and see the amazing color sea water overlooking Sithonia. The room was spacious with the view over the green lawn of the next door property. Clean and tidy, fresh bed linen, soft towels. The food during the meals is various and tasty. You can get a free glass of champagne, which is dry and cold. The staff is very attentive, quick and quiet. The stay was relaxing and very enjoyable!
The exterior looks so good whereas interior could be better
The room wasn’t with bathtub even that was described in the room selection !The prepare the same things for lunch and diner !You do not have to many food choices !The food is from low quality( e.g pasta , veggies, cake etc ) except olives ! Bartenders they didn’t know the exact amount of liquor or drinks to mix it up for any cocktail… if you taste the cocktails with closed eyes you cant find what you’re drinking!
Enough space in the room, and a beautiful view. Good food options and drinks in a beach bar - for all-inclusive guests.
The cleaning ladies knocked only once and immediately entered the room, we were not dressed at that moment since we had just gotten back from the beach but in their defense, we did not click on the notification option - do not disturb. The hospitality of the employees in the beach bar is on a street workers' level like they had enough of everything. I understand it's hard to be polite when serving people at 40 degrees but it's not that hard to put a smile on a face, it should be sufficient. The manager was super polite and all over the place, we even complained openly to him about the dirty glasses that we saw a couple of days in a row in the restaurant, I would never even mention this but out of 50 available glasses 48 were not cleaned well I even saw on a couple of them someone's lips on the edges, that was the proportion. Also, there is no parking and you need to wait for a free space to unload your luggage at the facility, not to mention that no one offered help and I had to bring it to the reception all luggage by myself. I understand there is no option to accommodate parking but at least you can have someone around to offer help with suitcases since that would be a great help. Also, this is not something that I don't do by myself nonstop and I don't have a problem with it I can lift a lot, but bringing up upstairs around 90kg of luggage is a mission while there were males at reception available to help but didn't care. So overall, you can get all the help in the hotel and you will be listened to but you really need to ask for everything.
The hotel is placed in a good location, just a 5-minute walk from the center of the village. The hotel looks good and comfortable, the cleaning service is reliable, and the hotel has its own private beach with umbrellas and sunbeds, which is great for such a crowded destination.
The hotel is not a 5-star hotel. On their webpage, they claim to meet the GSTC – Recognized Travelife Gold Certification, which is not star-based. The GSTC certification means eco-friendly practices, but they serve drinks in plastic cups and straws at the beach bar. By Forbes 5 Star Standards, the hotel would be 3 stars at most.Restaurant Food: The meat is often overcooked, chewy, and greasy, but there are a few decent options. Overall, I'd rate the protein 5 out of 10. Everything else is a disaster: cheap spreads, poor-quality vegetables, and mediocre fruit. The sweets are terrible, full of artificial colors, margarine, and sugar. Even the baklava was just filo dough, cinnamon, and sugar syrup with very few nuts. The food is not always labeled.Gym: It's small (max 2 people) with old, barely functional equipment. Located on the top floor, it is hot, with an old, ineffective air conditioner and poor ventilation. There are no towels, paper to clean the equipment, or a water dispenser. Most equipment is unusable.Shower Drain in the Toilet: It drains slowly, leaving you with feet soaked in water and shampoo residue after a shower. The Manager: He has an odd obsession with no flip-flops in the restaurant, even though half-dressed guests are allowed. He shows favoritism to local hotshots, throwing out families to accommodate non-guests who receive special treatment. For Greek night, only "special" guests were served.Privacy Violation: A photographer takes pictures at dinner and sells them for 5 euros each the next morning. Also, a travel agency uses a drone to film promotional videos, so you might appear in them without consent.Star ratings in this region can be misleading. If you're not from here, consider it a cultural experience.
The location was perfect and the stuff was friendly. There was good music. The sea in front of the hotel was pure clean.
For a 5start hotel the food was worse than average. Last 2days of our stay, it was better but still the food wasn’t good enough for a 5star hotel. The equipment in the room was old and there was stain in the bathtub and the water tap. The curtains and the bed cover was too old didn’t even want to touch.
The hotel is big, rooms are comfortable there is a pool and a private beach. With Al inclusive meal plan you get towels for beach sunbeds and umbrella. You have three main meals and drinks from the pool bar all the day.
The negative side is the limited food varieties in the restaurant. They don't change the bedsheets and towels in the rooms everyday. The bathrooms are not so clean as they should be.The beach is not sandy it is mostly with rocks you need special foot wear for safety. From all the aspects it deserves three stars ⭐⭐⭐ hotel.
The hotel is at the beach, first line with very nice and nearby bar for drinks. I liked very much that our room was on the first floor with the very nice water area between the room and the restaurant. The hotel was having everything we needed- nice beach, 20m from our room, nice pool, restaurant and staff. It was also clean.
The variaty of food was not so big, but it was okay.
Location was superb.
Pool is poor and the staff are really that prepared to help. Atmosphere is a little strange.
The breakfast was good and varied, and the location of the hotel was excellent
The coast is full of pebbles. I hope that a layer of sand will be placed on top of the pebbles so that tourists can enjoy the sea and sand
The booked room was fraud. It was nothing like the one on the pictures as well as not for 4 persons. I've made pictures and videos which I would like to share . We arrived at 23h,and the room was not prepared at all. The put two of us on the sofa, which was extra small.and not even for one person. There was noone to setup the beds, to put sheets and everything. The guy which was left as front officer couldn't find the sets for tje beds during 1.5h. My baby was outside, crying, we couldnt enter in the room while waiting forn offixe guy to speak with managers and try to do something. With one word, it was horrible for everyone of us, esoecialy when you are with kids and hotel representarive says they can not do anything and that they are very sory they cheat on us.
Everyrhing described above. As well as the breakfast, which was poor and nothing was replaced or added after 10am. Staff was awaiting for 10:30h to colect the dishes. So if someone went before 10am,maybe they found something in the dishes, rest of the guests no.
