- CTR Guesthouse was in a lovely building in a fantastic location. While I stayed there it was almost radio silent. I barely interacted with anyone coming in and out and in the common area. I had the top floor to myself which meant I had a bathroom to myself as well. The bathroom was super clean and the shower was a nice size. There is one other room upstairs but it was unoccupied. I stayed Sunday-Tuesday so I think that could be why. The kitchen and dining room downstairs are massive and you have tons of space and cookware. I really appreciated the complimentary coffee. The location was amazing. Walking distance right in the middle of the bus station, a large grocery store, and Old Town. Everything was in about a ten minute walk. It was honestly incredible. I would recommend this place if you want some peace and quite or if you are in a group and wanted to rent out some rooms for a longer stay. My only complaint is that the internet wasn't super fast but it still functioned and wasn't that big of a deal. If you need to get work done maybe something to consider.

This is the 4th time I have stayed there. It is small and feels like staying in someone’s house. The kitchen is huge, the beds comfortable and the location is very central. I shall definitely be staying there again.

It was not clear how to go in, there is no staff there. I needed to call to ask and she guided me on how to go in. I supposedly received an email,m about it, but I actually didn’t.
The place was impeccable!, extremely clean, quiet, nice area, nice people, easy access, everything I could ask for!.If you ever come to Guimaraes THI IS THE PLACE TO STAY!
CTR guest house has a very comfortable and interesting interier. Although the bathrooms are usually shared, it was always clean. The house is smartly designed so that the guests can keep their privecy. The host was responsive and friendly. The location is one of the mainc advantages . It's a walking distance to the city center.
When I saw that the room was isolated with the door from another one , I was a little worried, but overall it didn't cause any problem or discomfort.
Great space. Great amenities. Great location.
The upstairs bathroom door hinges need to be oiled....because old men have to get up in the night...and we don't like disturbing other guests. ;)
