Room is quite small, especially bathroom. Simple breakfast, no fruits :( no olives :(Parking was easy. Location is good for cars, Self-checkin.

Very small bathroom :) you will understand when you are in it. "No windows", just blinders and glass. Sleeping like on the street. And it is noisy from the early morning. It's not a holiday hotel :)

The room is big, staff is amazing, it's really clean, and surprisingly cheap for the quality I loved my stay there

The only thing that bothered me a little tiny bit was the location but it wasn't really a big deal either

Room 223 was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The inside of the building has a simple, but nice contemporary feel and everything was very clean. The location, about 5 km from the Guimarães city center, is perfect if you have a car. Breakfast included bread (3 types) and croissants, butter, jam, ham, cheese, cereals, yoghurt, milk, soy or almond milk (not sure which one), coffee and tea. There are 3 free parking spaces on the premises, but it's tricky to park your car there, as there is no space to maneuver, but there are plenty of places (free) on the street. Staff was very friendly.

Room 224 was very small.The bathroom in room 223 hasn't been refurbished and contrasts with the rest of the room, and the shower felt cramped.

The room has a comfortable size, with good access, nice and familiar neighborhood, plus the staff who were great.

In the room: the acoustics were really bad, as we already knew from other guests' reviews. The toilet flush was broken, so we had to try and fix it.The breackfast to earn a grade 10, could have eggs and some fruit.

This hotel is a hidden gem. The two stars are obviously no reflection of the provided service and a coo, but rather just a consequence of how effective the venue is managed with little staff on premises.If you are travelling solo, a couple or a small family, this has everything you need.The cleanliness is impeccable. Done on a daily basis and even when leaving the room as late as close to 12pm.The continental breakfast, for the value asked is a bonus, and with top notch quality offer, including multiple choices of bread, yoghurt, milk, coffee, cereal, cheese and ham!I only regret not having the chance to take advantage of the outsourced services of in room dining and massage(!).There's limited parking, but if you're lucky, one of the four free spots is yours to take.

The size of the sink in the toilet is really small. I understand and it does its job, but I just don't like it. The bed is ok, and so are the pillows.

Nice clean space. Good hot water, decent breakfast.

The staff were very helpful, went out of their way to assist with all enquiries. Good breakfast. Room was spacious and comfortable.

On site parking was a bit tricky, but plenty of on street parking. Probably need a car as it is quite a distance from the centre.

Excellent price/quality ratio. Convenient location on the road between Braga and Guimaraes. Simple but effective continental breakfast. Loved the large room, the very silent airconditioning, and the balcony outside our room. I would like to compliment the ladies on the last morning who dealt with a power outage, but still managed to serve us breakfast in time.

The receptionist, who checked us in and who was there the first 3 mornings, is really grumpy and clearly does not enjoy her job. This is a shame, as all the other staff are so friendly and helpful, and she is letting her colleagues down by also providing wrong information to guests.

Cheap and clean

No garbage ban on room, no ashtrey on room , no chair on balkon, no quality lunch or dinner , very shy personal

Good value for the money, perfect for a night stay and close to Guimaraes and Braga on a fairly quiet neighbourhood. Staff was very helpful and nice, comfortable bed as well. Breakfast was very simple but okay for the money.

The damp smell in the room but luckily we could open the windows and air it out. The room was very poorly lit but we just needed to sleep 1 night so no problem.

Location 10 minutes away from center of Guimarães. Hotel is a house converted into a small hotel with a feel like bed n breakfast. Private bathrooms in each room though. Breakfast was just enough.

Alot of car noise during night, block away from major road

Although it was a hot day, the room was cool. We even did not need to use the airco. Free parking available on-site. Close to the Guimaraes historical city.

The breakfast room lacked ventilation. There was a window to let in the light, but could not be opened to let fresh air in.

The staff were friendly and polite, nice price. Good location.

OK breakfast. Easy to find with a GPS and easy parking.

The staff is polite and friendly. The breakfast is simple but fair.

The noise from traffic was passing impression the cars were moving very fast next to room's windows. Even during the night, traffic has calmed down, but the windows are old and not sound-proofing making it very painful night. Also, you ear all noise from the corridor, and other guests have no respect slamming doors at 5am. The back of bathroom's door was loathful. The breakfast was fair but the ham was smelling old and tasted dreadfully - I couldn't eat, sorry. There's not enough parking space for travelers, and next morning when we left, the neighbor from the house at the other side of the road started a discussion and yelling because our car was parked in front of their property.
