Spa hours limited for late arrivals.

The property is stunning and the staff were so friendly and helpful. i had a lake view room well worth the price…..the views were priceless.

we were billed for another rooms charge. i am currently working with the manager to settle this issue

Not good value expensive

Breakfast was great.Very good selection of fruits and cheese and everything else.Beautiful lobby with a lot of privacy and sitting corners.

Warm water in the shower could be hotter.

The staff were incredible-I had read some previous reviews about the staff but could not believe how outstanding they all were. One person in particular who sticks in my memory is Alexander who works at the bar-he is a real asset to your hotel.The breakfast was also sublime

No faults at all, however if I was pressed to make a comment, I could say that the bedrooms were a bit cluttered-too much furniture, although extremely classy

Breakfast very outdated and not 5 star, the bed was very old a d I got back problems now

Lots of staff and very personable but with out faulty room they did not act - best hotels check that everything is working before new guests arrive

Room given outside of hotel up a steep slope and it was very small. Bath only filled up by filling it with water by holding the shower head. When the bath was filled the jets did not work. It was humid so put air con on and it blew hot air. Told reception in morning no action in evening. Told them again and they agreed it did not work but they could not do anything- they offered a move of room but we were leaving next day and I did not want to pack twice. No discount offered and it was expensive. Very disappointing- room apart from the faults the room was too small - under-whelming.

The hotel Palazzo Villa Aminta was the most magnificent and exquisite 5 star hotel that I have stayed in over the past 20 years. The location in Stressa on Lake Magorrie was perfect. My room with a partial lakeside view was actually a very large suite. The morning buffet was the biggest and best that I have ever had the pleasure of. The dinner menu had a large selection and the food was exceptional; the prices very fair. I am booking next summer for six nights so I can enjoy their health and beauty spa.

View from the room was perfect, you could lay in bed and have a clear view over the lake out to the islands.Staff were great, nothing was too much trouble.Hotel style was as we pictured and wanted it to look, took you back to better times.Sitting in the bar with a drink chatting and socialising, chap at the bar was very cheery.Breakfast, tasty indeed, good choice ohh and the fresh honey was amazing.Stresa is a lovely, vibrant place to visit. Lots of little streets and allyways with shops, bars and cafes to explore.

There is no in room tea/coffee facilities. Whilst the view from the room was great the noise from the busy road was not. Fine if you close window and doors and just use aircon, Its not walkable into Stresa, there is no path for the firs half of the 30 min walk.Shuttle from hotel to Stresa stops at 6pm, there is not a lot of taxis so getting back to the hotel entails walking along dark busy road.Lack of variation on the menu, same choice all week.

Exceptional staff. Villa perfect for a group. Images don’t do the villa justice. A villa attached to a beautiful hotel-perfect.

Very nice high ens hotel with great service and great viesws. All is so beautiful. Old luxurry, Very well maintaimed , A place to really relax. Very friendly staff.

The hotel was not only lovely, but had by far the best views of the lake. The breakfasts were wonderful and staff very helpful. I would highly recommend staying here when visiting Lake Maggiore.

The Wi-Fi could have been faster and more reliable. Also, the spa had a damp smell which needs to be addressed. correcting these issues would improve the quality of the hotel.

Incredible breakfast, the staff and the operations manager went above and beyond to help us as the room had heating issues!

The quality of room service food is ok, too pricey for what you eat.Room had heating issues and they solved it with a little heater.

Beautiful hotel on the lake with outstanding breakfast.

Transfer to centre only go during day and they charge for this service in the evening which isn’t clear when booking. Drinks service very slow in the evening.

Superb decor staff couldn’t do enough for us and great food

Would like to have been able to walk to Stresa but the hotel had a very good shuttle service.
